Asa Asika (born 14 August 1990), is a Nigerian talent manager, best known as Davido's manager, also the co-founder of The Plug (subsidiaries; Plug Entertainment, Plug Live, The Plug Music, Plug Films, Plug Publishing, and Plug Sports) and The Block Party Series.
Asa Asika was born on 14 August 1990, [1] and is the oldest of three siblings. His mother died when he was seven years old. [1]
Asika began his career at Storm 360, working at shows for Obi Asika, when he was sixteen, [2] until 2012, when his uncle, and Olisa Adibua ended their partnership. At Storm 360, he worked with Ikechukwu, ELDee, Sasha P, Naeto C, and became talent manager to YQ, [3] and other clients including R2Bees and Davido. In 2013, he founded his entertainment management company, StarGaze Management Company, [4] after he split with Davido. In 2014, he signed Naeto C, Boj, a member of the musical group DRB LasGidi, and Ayo Jay, to StarGaze Management Company. [4] In 2016, he founded The Plug Entertainment (aka The Plug), [5] a management firm. In 2017, he became Davido's manager again, under The Plug Entertainment. [6] He won Artiste Manager of the Year at The Beatz Awards 2019, [7] and 2018 City People Music Awards. [8] On 22 March 2021, he received multiple plaques from RIAA for Davido, and Ayo Jay. [9]
He is the nephew of Obi Asika, and cousin to Naeto C. In January 2018, his relationship with Cuppy [10] became public, and ended in 2020. [11]

Omo Baba Olowo is the debut studio album by Nigerian singer Davido. It was released by HKN Music on July 17, 2012, and is a mixture of Afrobeats and hip hop. The album was produced by Jay Sleek, Maleek Berry, GospelOnDeBeatz, Spellz, Dokta Frabz, Mr. Chidoo, Theory Soundz and Shizzi. Omo Baba Olowo features collaborations with Naeto C, Sina Rambo, B-Red, Kayswitch, Ice Prince, May D and 2 Face Idibia. It produced the singles "Back When", "Dami Duro", "Ekuro", "Overseas", "All of You", "Gbon Gbon", and "Feel Alright".

In April 2014, the NEA reviewing committee began collecting submissions for the 2014 edition. The deadline for submission was April 30, 2014, and the nominations were announced on May 29, 2014. Tiwa Savage and Davido received the most nominations with 5 each. Don Jazzy, Flavour N'abania and Wizkid all got four nominations each, while Olamide, Patoranking, Chidinma and Oritse Femi followed closely with three nominations.

The Gidi Culture Festival is an annual one-day music and arts festival that takes place in Lagos, Nigeria. Before his appointment, he is known for his involvement in the growth of Nigeria's music industry, as the founder and CEO of Storm 360 - an indigenous music label. Storm 360 has spawned a lot of Nigerian entertainers including Naeto C, Ikechukwu, Sasha P, General Pype, L.O.S., Ms Jaie, Tosin Martins, and Yung 6ix.
Oluseye Desmond Sodamola, professionally known as Spinall, is a Nigerian disc jockey, record producer, and songwriter. He has released six studio albums and collaborated with artists that have included Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Asake among others. He has won numerous awards for his work, including All Africa Music Awards and The Beatz Awards. He is also the first Nigerian disc jockey to play at festivals such as Coachella, SXSW, and Glastonbury.

Ayo Ayoku better known by his stage name Wani, is an American-Nigerian alté musician. In 2018, he came into the music scene with a widely acclaimed EP Lagos City Vice, with lead song "China Designer", a remake of Tekno's "Be", which became controversial in September 2019, after Sarz called him out, for his royalty, following the success of the song, reaching 1 million streams in July 2019.
Abiodun Osikoya, popularly known as Bizzle Osikoya, is a Nigerian record label executive, talent manager, film producer, and sound engineer. He is the co-founder of The Plug and The Block Party Series. In June 2022, Bizzle joined the Recording Academy class of 2022, as a professional member.

The BlockParty Series started in Lagos, Nigeria as Mainland BlockParty in 2018.
