The 6th The Beatz Awards was held at Muson Center in Lagos on 28 November 2021. [1] The organizers opened a portal for the public to submit entries on 4 August 2021, [2] and recorded 2500 entries, on October 6. [3] Nominees were revealed on October 29, 2021. [4] The live show was televised on STV, Nigezie TV, wapTV, TVC, BEN Television, and MTV Base, and hosted by Victory Wilson, Boda Wasiu, and Saco. It celebrated entertainment personalities across 25 voting categories, with 3 honorary Awards (non-voting).

The CEO of The Beatz Awards, Elijah John, stated: "one of the sponsors, Pazino Homes and Gardens, will be awarding a landed property to the winner of the OAP category, as the Awards have taken on new dimensions". He further stated: "all producer categories, mixing, and mastering categories will each receive a monetary reward of one hundred thousand naira (₦100,000)". [5]

On 30 December 2020, the organizer held a virtual pre-ceremony of the 6th edition, tagged: "THE BEATZ AWARDS 20 FOR 20", reviewing the 20 biggest songs in the year 2020. [6] The category New Discovery Producer was renamed Don Jazzy New Discovery Producer. The category was won by Andre Vibez, with a million naira cash price awarded to him, and the runner-up, Ajimovoix Drums. [7]

The Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance is an honor presented to recording artists for quality rap performances. Osabuohien Osaretin, better known by his stage name Sarz, is a Nigerian record producer, mixing engineer and musician. Born in Benin City, Edo State, he is popularly known for the tag Sarz On The Beat/"Really", at the beginning or end of all his music productions.

Kalasha Film & TV Awards is an annual accolade presented by Kenya Film Commission with a goal to recognize and celebrate achievers in Kenya's TV and film industry. Entries into the award ceremony are films and TV series that have been aired on Kenyan television stations. Ezeh Chisom Faith, professionally known as Rexxie, is a Nigerian record producer, DJ, and songwriter. He is popular for creating the Zanku sound, and producing Naira Marley's Soapy, Tesumole and the song KPK with MohBad.

The Beatz Awards is a Nigerian awards music show first introduced on 13 November 2015, by Eliworld Int'l Limited, to recognize and celebrate outstanding achievements of the creative minds behind the music production, business, and distribution.

The 3rd The Beatz Awards was held at Muson Center in Lagos on December 16, 2017. On September 1, the organizers call for entries, to be submitted through its portal, from the year in review August 3, 2016 to September 30, 2017. Nominees were revealed on October 26, 2017. The live show was televised on STV, Nigezie TV, wapTV, TVC, and BEN Television.

The 4th The Beatz Awards tagged "The Quadrant", was held at Muson Center in Lagos on 21 November 2018. Nominees were revealed on October 26, 2017. The live show was televised on STV, Nigezie TV, wapTV, TVC, and BEN Television, and hosted by Kenny Blaq. Killertunes had the highest award winnings at The Beatz Awards, by securing 3 awards at the ceremony.

The 74th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards honored the best in artistic and technical achievement in American prime time television programming from June 1, 2021, until May 31, 2022, as chosen by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. The awards were presented on September 3 and 4, 2022, at the Microsoft Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, California. A total of 99 Creative Arts Emmys were presented across 93 categories. The ceremonies were broadcast in the United States by FXX on September 10.

The 5th The Beatz Awards was held at Muson Center in Lagos on 24 November 2019. Nominees were revealed on October 15, 2019. The live show was televised on STV, Nigezie TV, wapTV, TVC, BEN Television, and MTV Base, and hosted by Dr SID. It celebrated entertainment personalities across 25 voting categories, with 4 honorary Awards (non-voting). Kel-P had the highest award winnings at The Beatz Awards, by securing 3 awards at the ceremony.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Global Music Awards Africa</span>

Global Music Awards Africa is an annual award, presented by Smart Focus Media. GMAA honors outstanding musical accomplishments in Africa, with the goal to discover the next African star. The first edition was supposed to hold on 6 March 2021, at Accra International Conference Centre in Ghana. Due to COVID-19 regulations in Ghana, it was held virtually on 20 March 2021, at AICC. The most recent ceremony was held on 16 April 2022 at Lagos Oriental Hotel in Nigeria.

Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, known professionally as MohBad, was a Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter from Lagos. He was formerly signed to Naira Marley's Marlian Records and left the label in 2022. He was best known for his hit songs "Ponmo," "Peace," "Beast and Peace," "Sorry", "Feel Good," and "KPK " with Rexxie, which was nominated three times for The Headies awards 2022. On 18 September 2023, he ranked number 1 on TurnTable's Official Artiste Top 100.
