Asadabad-e Pain (Persian : اسدابادپايين‎, also Romanized as Asadābād-e Pā’īn; also known as Asadābād-e Soflá, Asadābād-e Soflā, and Asadābād-i-Khān)^[1] is a village in Mehrabad Rural District, Bahman District, Abarkuh County, Yazd Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 218, in 71 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Mehrabad Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Bahman District, Abarkuh County, Yazd Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,976, in 580 families. The rural district has 13 villages.
