Salahuddin Quader Chowdhury was a Bangladeshi politician, minister and six-term member of Jatiya Sangsad and member of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Standing Committee, who served as the adviser of parliamentary affairs to Prime Minister Khaleda Zia in from 2001 to 2006. On 1 October 2013 he was convicted of 9 of 23 charges and sentenced to death by the International Crimes Tribunal of Bangladesh for crimes during the 1971 Bangladesh War of Independence. However, limitations placed on his defense testimony were called "disturbing" and the trial was politically motivated.

Saifuzzaman Chowdhury Javed is a Bangladesh Awami League politician and a former Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Chittagong-12 and Chittagong-13 constituencies. He served as the Minister of Land at the Fourth Hasina ministry during 2019–2024.

Abul Harris Chowdhury was a Bangladeshi and politician who served as the Political Secretary of Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. He was the Joint Secretary General of Bangladesh Nationalist Party. Chowdhury was sentenced to 65 years in total and a life term in prison in absentia for allegedly committing multiple crimes. Salahuddin Ahmed is a Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician who served as the state minister of communication and a member of parliament from Cox's Bazar-1 constituency during 1996–2006. He was the spokesperson of the party. In 2015, he allegedly enforced disappeared in Dhaka and reappeared two months later in Shillong, India under Indian police custody. In 2018, he was acquitted by the Indian court. Later on 28 February 2023, he was also acquitted by the appellate court.

Shibir Nasir, born Nasir Uddin Chowdhury, is a cadre of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir and gangster from Chittagong. He was facing 36 cases with charges including extortion, kidnapping, and murder. He operated out of a dorm of Chittagong College.
