Assigny is a former commune in the Seine-Maritime department in the Normandy region in north-western France. On 1 January 2016, it was merged into the new commune of Petit-Caux. [2]
A farming village in the Petit Caux district, situated some 10 miles (16 km) northeast of Dieppe, at the junction of the D222 and D113 roads.

These communes previously cooperated in the Communauté de communes du Petit Caux.
