Asymphorodes sericeus is a moth of the family Cosmopterigidae. [2] [3] It was described by John Frederick Gates Clarke in 1986. [1] [2] [3] It is found on Nuku Hiva [1] (Marquesas Islands, [3] French Polynesia).

The wingspan is 8–10 mm (0.31–0.39 in). Coloration is off white, typically with some spots, although females are often immaculate. [1]
