Atiul Islam is an Indian film director who primarily works in Bengali-language films. He made his debut with the film Char A 420. He gained popularity for Fatema, was released on 28 July 2023, with Rahul Banerjee, Laboni Sarkar and Moon Sarkar. He was also work as a journalist. [1] [2] [3]
Atiul Islam was born on 12 February 1998 at Hariharpara, Murshidabad. His father's name is Abul Kasem Sk & Mother's name is Anjura Bibi.He has attended Hariharpara High school for schooling and went to Jatindra Rajendra Mahavidyalaya for graduation. Besides studying in school, he was active to make short film. Because he always love camera since childhood. [4]
He made his debut as a director with "Char A 420"(2018), a comedy film. After he made his 2nd film "Kishalay"(2021), which is about present education system. Tapan Sinha was one of the most prominent Indian film directors of his time forming a legendary quartet with Satyajit Ray, Ritwik Ghatak and Mrinal Sen. He was primarily a Bengali filmmaker who worked both in Hindi cinema and Bengali cinema, directing films like Kabuliwala (1957), Louha-Kapat, Sagina Mahato (1970), Apanjan (1968), Kshudhita Pashan and children's film Safed Haathi (1978) and Aaj Ka Robinhood. Sinha started his career in 1946, as a sound engineer with New Theatres film production house in Kolkata, then in 1950 left for England where he worked at Pinewood Studios for next two years, before returning home to start his six decade long career in Indian cinema, making films in Bengali, Hindi and Oriya languages, straddling genres from social realism, family drama, labor rights, to children's fantasy films. He was one of the acclaimed filmmakers of Parallel Cinema movement of India.

Arunoday Banerjee, better known as Rahul Banerjee, is an Indian actor works in Bengali language films and television. He made his stage appearance at the age of three with his father's theatre troupe Bijoygarh Atmaprakash play entitled Raj Darshan. Since then, he has acted in almost 450 stage shows, with his father's troupe and with Theatron. He was married to co-actress Priyanka Sarkar. He was catapulted to stardom for his role opposite Priyanka Sarkar in Chirodini Tumi Je Amar, directed by Raj Chakraborty. The film was a massive box-office success.
