Atiya Anisha (born 2 April 1999) is a Bangladeshi playback singer. [1] [2] [3] She won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer for her song Ei Shohorer Pothe Pothe from the film Payer Chhaap (2022). [4] [5] [6]

Career

Anisha's journey as a singer began when she participated as a finalist in the reality show "Shera Kontho 2017". [7] [8] She participated in "Zee Bangla Sa Re Ga Ma Pa," a famous reality show among Bengali-speaking audiences. [9] One of her performances on the show, was a rendition of the song "Behaya Mon," originally composed by Chishti Baul and the song became very popular with the audience. Anisha started her playback singing career in 2019. [10] [11] She received the Meril Prothom Alo Award (2022) and the Ananda Lahari Award for her performance of the song 'Cholo Niralay' in the film 'Poran,' recognizing her as the best Female Playback Singer. In 2022, Farin is starring in Indian Bengali language film titled Aro Ek Prithibi Somoy Television directed by Kolkata-based filmmaker Atanu Ghosh.

Sabbir Nasir is a Bangladeshi singer, composer, songwriter. He works on folk fusion, indie pop and blues music. He started performing on stage at the age of 16. He was the vocalist and the lead guitarist of different bands. His last band, Metamorphosis published their first and last album in 1998. Since 1998 till 2018, Sabbir was out of the musical scene. He started singing again in 2018 at the studios and on stages and some of his folk and Blues songs became very much popular among Bangladeshi and Indian Audience. Some of his top Folk singles are "Binodini Rai" which is a duet song, sung along with Sampa Biswas from India, "Amare Dia Dilam Tomare", "Tumi Dome Dom" etc. He got CJFB Award in 2020 for his Single "Horsho". He was recognized with Safekeeper Channel i Digital Award in 2021 for his song "Amare Dia Dilam Tomare". Golui is a 2022 Bangladeshi periodical romantic film directed by SA Haque Alik and co-produced by Khorshed Alam Khosru. It has been made on the basis of the traditional boat race of rural Bengal and the life of the people of a vast village. The film stars Shakib Khan, Puja Cherry, Azizul Hakim and Suchorita in the lead roles. The cast also includes Fazlur Rahman Babu, Suchorita, Ali Raj, Jhuna Chowdhury, Somu Chowdhury in supporting roles.

Subir Nandi sang this song to the tune with music arrangement of Maksud Jamil Mintu. The song is considered to be the most popular song used in the film. The song was released under label of Sangeeta Music along with other songs from the audio album. Mahfuz Ahmed lip-synced in the scene of this song in the film. Maksud Jamil Mintu and Subir Nandi won the National Film Award for music arrangement and vocals.
