Avonmore is a residential neighbourhood in south east Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It was named after Algernon William Yelverton, 6th Viscount Avonmore, a priest from Ireland. It is in the shape of an irregular quadrilateral bounded on the south east by Argyll Road, on the south west by Mill Creek Ravine, on the north by 76 Avenue and on the east by 75 Street. It is surrounded by a mixture of residential neighbourhoods and industrial subdivisions. To the north is the residential subdivision of King Edward Park. To the east and south east are the industrial subdivisions of Girard Industrial and Coronet Addition Industrial. Separated from Avonmore by the Mill Creek Ravine are the residential neighbourhoods of Argyll, Hazeldean and Ritchie.

An author since 1989, Lewis worked as a high school teacher, and served as naval officer for 20 years, seeing active service in Baghdad during the Iraq war, and working in East Timor. Avonmore stop is a tram stop under construction in the Edmonton Light Rail Transit network in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It will serve the Valley Line, and is located in 83 Street, staggered on either side of 73 Avenue, in Avonmore. Northbound passengers will board the train north of 73 Avenue, while southbound passengers will board south of 73 Avenue. The stop is scheduled to open in 2022.
Avonmore Terrace is a heritage-listed row of terrace houses at 26-42 The Avenue, in the Sydney suburb of Randwick in the City of Randwick local government area of New South Wales, Australia. The terrace houses were built from 1888 to 1891 by John Walsh. It is also known as Randwick Mansions. The property is privately owned. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999. As of 2007, the terrace houses are predominately used as domestic housing, with one of the terraces used as a boutique hotel.
