Ayoola Ayolola (born January 12, 1987) is a Nigerian musician, singer, and actor. [1] [2] He won the 5th Project Fame West Africa on September 29, 2012. [3] [4] [5]
Ayolola was born in Kano, northern Nigeria. He is the oldest of five children. He attended Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State where he studied biochemistry. [6] [7]
Ayolola won the 5th edition of the Project Fame West Africa, where he was gifted a car, 2.5 million naira cash price and a year recording deal. [8] [9] [10] He previously participated in another singing contest Nigerian Idol where he got evicted in the first round after making the final 12. [11]
Ayolola suspended his music career for acting in 2015, he featured as Mide in the YouTube series Skinny Girl in Transit afterwards. He also featured in movies such as Isoken. [12]

Project Fame, also known as Project Fame West Africa or MTN Project Fame West Africa, is a music talent TV reality show filmed in Lagos and aired in the West African subcontinent. It is a regional version of Star Academy reality series that was developed and is licensed worldwide by Endemol. The show used to feature contestants from Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone, but Liberia and Sierra Leone have been dropped since the 2014 Ebola Outbreak. The show is broadcast by networks in these four countries and across the African continent.

The series returned to NdaniTV for its fifth season on November 9, 2018 after being on hiatus for over a year. The series returned again for the sixth season, the first episode of season 6 aired on February 14, 2020.
