Azaran (Persian : آذَران‎, also Romanized as Āzarān, Āzerān, and Azrān; also known as Āzar)^[1] is a village in Golab Rural District, Barzok District, Kashan County, Isfahan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,017, in 292 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Golab Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Barzok District, Kashan County, Isfahan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 5,152, in 1,533 families. The rural district has 8 villages.

Barzok District is a district (bakhsh) in Kashan County, Isfahan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 10,267, in 3,065 families. The District has one city: Barzok. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Babaafzal Rural District and Golab Rural District.
