Ba'a (Baa, Baadale) is the capital of the Indonesian island of Rote and of the Rote Ndao Regency (kabupaten), in the province of East Nusa Tenggara. [1] It lies in the district ( kecamatan ) Lobalain and forms a village (desa) with 1,161 inhabitants (2010). [2]

TransNusa

PT TransNusa Aviation Mandiri, operating as TransNusa Aviation Mandiri, usually shortened to TransNusa, is an Indonesian domestic airline serving the east of Indonesia, mainly Nusa Tenggara and southern Sulawesi. Its main base is El Tari Airport, Kupang. It was launched in August 2005 serving various destinations from Kupang, Timor, using aircraft chartered from Pelita Air and Trigana Air Service. In August 2011, TransNusa received its own air operator's certificate (AOC) and scheduled commercial airline permit.

Puteri Indonesia 2010

Puteri Indonesia 2010, the 15th Annual Puteri Indonesia beauty pageant, was held in Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, Indonesia on October 8, 2010. Thirty eight contestants from all 33 provinces of Indonesia competed for the title of Puteri Indonesia, one of the most prominent beauty pageant titles in the country. Qory Sandioriva, Puteri Indonesia 2009 from Aceh crowned her successor Nadine Alexandra Dewi Ames of Jakarta SCR 4 at Assembly Hall, Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta. Ames is going to represent Indonesia at the Miss Universe 2011 in São Paulo, Brazil, while the first and second runners-up will represent the nation at the Miss International 2011 and the Miss Asia Pacific World 2011 respectively.

The Gereja-Gereja Reformasi Calvinis di Indonesia (GGRCI) is a Reformed denomination in Indonesia. This denomination is a member of International Conference of Reformed Churches (ICRC). GGRCI has churches and mission works all around Indonesia, including in: Rote island, Sabu island, Timor island Java island, Sumba island, and Celebes island. GGRCI holds the Reformed confessions (Heidelberg Catechism, Belgic Confession, and Canons of Dort.

At the 2013 Southeast Asian Games, the athletics events took place in Naypyidaw, Myanmar. The track and field events took place at the Wunna Theikdi Stadium. The competition held between December 15–19.
