Baby, also known as Hey, Baby and ROM-1, is the stage name of Romone Majik Clarke, an English drag queen who competed on series 4 of RuPaul's Drag Race UK .
Baby is the youngest of five children and graduated from the BRIT School with a degree in songwriting. [4] [5]
Baby competed on series 4 of RuPaul's Drag Race UK . She describes herself as "London's afro-punk princess". [5] She eliminated herself from the competition, [6] [7] following a bottom two placement and a lip-sync against Dakota Schiffer. [8] According to Gay Times, Baby left "after opening up about their battle with depression and anxiety, igniting a vital conversation about mental health in the process". [9] Baby appeared in music videos for "Unholy" by Sam Smith and Kim Petras as well as "Hot in It" by Tiësto and Charli XCX. [10] Baby released the single "Theatre!" in 2023. [9]
