Alexis Saint-Pete is the stage name of Piotr Lorek, a Polish-British drag performer and make-up artist who competed on series 5 of RuPaul's Drag Race UK . [3]

Early life

Lorek began working in theatre at age 4 and relocated to the United Kingdom in 2007, at the age of 12, to attend the Northern Ballet School in Manchester. [4] [5] [2] His father was a boxer, and his first experiences with cross-dressing involved wearing towels and stealing his mother's clothing. [6]

Career

Lorek discovered drag at the age of 18 after attending a gay club in Manchester with his mother. His original stage name was "Queen Panthera". His current stage name is composed of "Alexis", a character he once portrayed, "Saint", which he erroneously believed meant "sinner", and "Pete", from his birth name of Peter. [5] As a make-up artist, one of his notable clients has been singer Doda. [7]

Alexis Saint-Pete competed on series 5 of RuPaul's Drag Race UK . She was the first Polish contestant on any Drag Race franchise. [4] [8] She was the first contestant eliminated, after placing in the bottom two of the design challenge and losing a lip-sync against Naomi Carter to Tiesto and Charli XCX's "Hot in It" (2022). [9] [10] [11] Alexis Saint-Pete's persona is inspired by early 2000s female pop artists. [12] She has described herself as the "Polish Billy Elliot" [13] and a "clown in a supermodel body". [14]

In 2025, she became the first drag queen to launch a jewelry line at London Fashion Week. [15]
