Baby Face Killa is the ninth mixtape by American rapper Freddie Gibbs. It was released on September 25, 2012. [5] It is the first installment of the Gangsta Grillz series featuring Gary, Indiana based Freddie Gibbs.

The mixtape was announced shortly after the release of the previous street album Cold Day In Hell . There are 18 tracks on the street album and additional bonus tracks on the deluxe edition that were released on iTunes. The mixtape features guest appearances from Pharrell Williams, Dana Williams, Z-Ro, Young Jeezy, Slick Pulla, Ea$y Money, YG, Dom Kennedy, SpaceGhostPurrp, Krayzie Bone, Jadakiss, Jay Rock, Wayne Blazed, Curren$y, Problem, G-Wiz, D-Edge, Hit Skrewface & Kirko Bangz. The second track "Still Livin'" was featured in the video game Grand Theft Auto V.

Marc Shemer,, better known by his stage name Scram Jones, is a producer, DJ and rapper from New Rochelle, New York. He has produced music for Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Styles P, Tragedy Khadafi, Jadakiss, Saigon, Dipset and Troy Ave. He has been featured in The Source magazine's "Unsigned Hype" column. Scram Jones is jewish.

Gibbs later signed with Young Jeezy's CTE World and released a number of mixtapes through the label, including 2012's highly acclaimed Baby Face Killa.

<i>Covert Coup</i> 2011 studio album by Curren$y and The Alchemist

Covert Coup is a collaboration studio album by rapper Curren$y and producer The Alchemist. The album featured guest appearances from rappers Prodigy of Mobb Deep, Freddie Gibbs, Smoke DZA and Fiend and contains 10 songs. Covert Coup was created as a retail EP. Later, the artists decided to release it as a free digital album. It was still treated as a mixtape, however, since it was given away for free. On April 7, 2011, the first single from Covert Coup titled "Ventilation" was leaked onto the internet. "Full Metal" was leaked on April 12. On April 15, the third single entitled "Scottie Pippen" featuring Freddie Gibbs, was leaked. The album was released by Curren$y on April 20, 2011, via his Twitter. On May 8, 2012, The Alchemist released Covert Coup Instrumentals, a projects that encludes the Instrumental version of every track in the album.

Piñata is the first collaborative studio album by American rapper Freddie Gibbs and record producer Madlib. It was released on March 18, 2014, by Madlib Invazion. Entirely produced by Madlib, the 17-track LP features contributions from Raekwon, Earl Sweatshirt, Danny Brown, Domo Genesis, Scarface, BJ the Chicago Kid, Ab-Soul, Casey Veggies, Meechy Darko and Mac Miller, among others. Jeremy Dussolliet, known professionally as Kinetics is a rapper based in New York City who has been releasing hip-hop projects since 2008. He has collaborated with R.A. the Rugged Man, Skyzoo, Remedy from Wu-Tang Killa Bees, Termanology, Accent, the Unknown Prophets and others, but is best known for his work with friend and longtime collaborator, NYC producer One Love. In 2009, Kinetics & One Love started releasing experimental hip-hop projects and writing and producing for other artists.

Dacoury Dahi Natche, professionally known as DJ Dahi, is an American DJ, songwriter, record producer and singer from Inglewood, California. Dahi is perhaps best known for producing "Money Trees" by American rapper Kendrick Lamar, “Worst Behavior" by Canadian rapper Drake, and "I Don't Fuck with You" by American rapper Big Sean, which reached the top 20 of the US Hot 100 chart. Dahi has also produced several tracks for various artists including Dr. Dre, Freddie Gibbs, Dom Kennedy, Lupe Fiasco, Vince Staples, Mac Miller, Pac Div, Vic Mensa, Casey Veggies, Logic, Big K.R.I.T., and Childish Gambino among others. Aside from his solo production career, Dahi is also a member of production team D.R.U.G.$.

It also includes production from Gibbs himself, credited as Freddie Kane, alongside Kenny Beats, Jones, A. Lau, RichGains and Tony Seltzer, among others.
