Tyree Cinque Simmons, known professionally as DJ Drama, is an American disc jockey (DJ), record executive and music promoter. He initially gained recognition as the DJ for Atlanta-based rapper T.I., and continued to gain prominence hosting mixtapes for other hip hop artists. His trademark Gangsta Grillz series is present on releases of which he has compiled; it has been popularized by artists including Lil Wayne, Tyler the Creator, Snoop Dogg, Yo Gotti, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Fabolous, Jeezy, Meek Mill, and Gucci Mane, among others. CB5 is the twenty-second mixtape by Moroccan-American rapper French Montana. It was released through EMPIRE on November 20, 2020. The mixtape features guest appearances from Jim Jones, Lil Durk, the late Pop Smoke, Jack Harlow, the late Chinx, Rafi Malice, Max B, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Benny the Butcher, Montana's younger brother Zak, ASAP Rocky, LGP Qua, Lil Mosey, and Currensy. On November 27, 2020, Montana released the deluxe edition of the mixtape with five additional tracks, but ended up taking it down a few days later for unknown reasons.

Rory William Quigley, known professionally as Harry Fraud, is an American record producer. Primarily a hip hop producer, Fraud began producing at an early age and began interning at a recording studio after graduating high school. First discovered by French Montana during a recording session in Chinatown in early 2009, Fraud has gone on to become a fixture in the New York underground and mixtape scene. He gained mainstream attention when his song with French Montana "Shot Caller" became one of the most added tracks on urban contemporary radio during 2011–2012.

Lionel Du Fon Pickens, better known by his stage name Chinx, was an American rapper. He was a member of The Rockaway Riot Squad alongside fellow slain rapper Stack Bundles. Chinx later joined French Montana's Coke Boys Records, gaining recognition for his appearances on the Coke Boys mixtapes and the Cocaine Riot mixtape series. He was killed in a drive-by shooting in Jamaica, Queens on May 17, 2015. Two men have since been arrested in the case.

MC4 is the twenty-first mixtape by American rapper French Montana. MC4 was originally intended to be released as his second studio album. It was released on November 5, 2016, by Coke Boys Records, Bad Boy Records, Maybach Music Group and Epic Records. However, the album's release was canceled after Target unofficially released the album on CD on its original release date of August 19, 2016, two months before the album was set to release, which was later leaked online in its entirety. Subsequently, the album was heavily bootlegged. It was French Montana's last project released by Maybach Music Group before leaving the label.

Ma' I Got a Family, also referred to by its full title Ma' I Got a Family, A Gangsta Grillz Special Edition Hosted by DJ Drama on streaming services, is the nineteenth solo mixtape by American rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again. It was released through Never Broke Again and Atlantic Records on October 21, 2022. The mixtape is hosted by the American DJ, DJ Drama as an installment of his Gangsta Grillz mixtape series. The mixtape features guest appearances from rappers Nicki Minaj and Yeat. The mixtape also features production from 808 Mafia, Dmac, D-Roc, Drum Dummie, Mason Wu, Noah Mejia, TnTXD, and Chief Keef. The mixtape was mixed, mastered, recorded, and co-produced by Jason "Cheese" Goldberg and Khris James, two of YoungBoy's in-house engineers. The mixtape was backed by no singles and marks YoungBoy's sixth release of 2022.
