Robert Coleman Thomas (born March 6, 1999), known professionally as Rob49, is an American rapper from New Orleans, Louisiana. [1] He is best known for his guest appearance alongside 21 Savage on Travis Scott's 2023 song "Topia Twins", which peaked within the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100. [2]
Robert Thomas was born in 1999 in New Orleans. He grew up in the Iberville Projects and spent most of his childhood in the 4th and 9th wards of New Orleans. [3] [4] [5] He was primarily raised by his mother, as his father was incarcerated for much of his childhood. [3] [6] During Hurricane Katrina, his family fled New Orleans and briefly lived in Baton Rouge and Houston before returning to New Orleans. He attended Southern University to study nursing for two semesters, before dropping out and pursuing music. [3] [4]

He was named president of Lil Wayne's record label Young Money Entertainment in 2009, having known Wayne since childhood. Preyan has co-written several of Wayne's singles, including "How to Love", "Got Money", "No Worries" and "It's Good", among others. Furthermore, he has co-written severally for other artists or Wayne's collaborators, often in tandem with record producer Ke'noe; his credits include "Dreams and Nightmares" by Meek Mill and "So Sophisticated" by Rick Ross.
Shante Scott Franklin, better known by his stage name Currensy, is an American rapper. Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, he signed with the regionally-based labels Cash Money Records and Young Money Entertainment in the mid-2000s, although he released no albums for both. He signed with DD172 to release four albums before signing with Warner Records to release his fifth album and major label debut, Weekend at Burnie's (2011).
