Wave Gods is the twentieth mixtape by American rapper French Montana, released on February 19, 2016. [1] The mixtape features guest appearances from Future, Kanye West, Nas, Travis Scott, Big Sean, Chris Brown, Quavo, Belly, Kodak Black, Puff Daddy, Jadakiss, Chinx and ASAP Rocky. [2] Production was handled by AK47, Ben Billions, Black Metaphor, DJ Khalil, Harry Fraud, Jayze, Key Wane, London on da Track, Metro Boomin, Rick Steel, Southside, Tariq Beats, The Mekanics, Trakformaz and Wess.

It was scheduled to be released on November 5, 2016, by Coke Boys Records, Bad Boy Records, Maybach Music Group and Epic Records. However, the album's release was canceled after Target unofficially released the album on CD on its original release date, August 19, 2016, two months before the album was set to release, which was later leaked online in its entirety. Subsequently, the album was heavily bootlegged. It was French Montana's last project released by Maybach Music Group before leaving the label.
