All four members are involved in the songwriting and production process. Garbage has sold over 17 million albums worldwide.
TISM are a seven-piece anonymous alternative rock band,formed in Melbourne,Australia on 30 December 1982 by vocalist/drummer Humphrey B. Flaubert,bassist/vocalist Jock Cheese and keyboardist/vocalist Eugene de la Hot Croix Bun,with vocalist Ron Hitler-Barassi joining the group the following year. These four members have formed the core of the band since their inception,with the line-up being rounded out by guitarists Leak Van Vlalen (1982–1991),Tokin' Blackman and Vladimir Lenin-McCartney (2022–present),as well as backing vocalists/dancers Les Miserables and Jon St. Peenis.

The band is known for their intense live shows,as well as their frequent line-up changes. Despite their limited commercial success and small discography,they are considered to be one of the most influential bands in the progression of the underground music scene in the eastern United States and United Kingdom for the post-hardcore genre.

His influences include Charlie Patton,Bukka White,Reverend Gary Davis,Dave Van Ronk,Mississippi John Hurt,and his self-professed "hero" "Spider" John Koerner. He plays a Mule resonator,National resonator guitar,a fretless open-back banjo,and a twelve-string guitar,often in the Piedmont blues style. He is divorced from Emily Parr,who occasionally adds vocals to his music. He has two children.
Supermachiner was an experimental music project that Jacob Bannon and Ryan Parker began writing for in 1994 and soon became a collection of four track recordings. When Converge had about six months of down time as the band searched for a drummer,Bannon and Parker found the time to resurrect that project. Bannon and Parker named the project "Supermachiner",a play on the term "Supermachinder" the compound word for Japanese giant robot toys from the 1970s. The music was very different from Converge's,having more in common with influences Swans,Bauhaus,and others.

Like this mixtape,it was set back for some time,eventually being released in September due to legal issues.
