Badcall is a remote crofting township, located on the northern shore of the sea loch, Loch Inchard, in Sutherland, Scottish Highlands [1] and is in the Scottish council area of Highland.
The township is located 1.5 miles east of Kinlochbervie.
Achintraid is a small one-time crofting township, situated at the north-eastern end of the sea loch Loch Kishorn, in Strathcarron, Ross-shire, Scottish Highlands and is in the Scottish council area of Highland.

Ach' An Todhair is a small hamlet on the shore of Loch Linnhe in the Highland council area, Scotland. It is located along the A82 road directly south of Fort William. A bus serves the hamlet, connecting it to Fort William in the north and Corran and Inchree to the south. A number of graves of Clan Campbell are said to be located in this area of the lochside. It is mentioned in a poem in Hugh MacDiarmid's poetry collection The golden treasury of Scottish poetry which goes, "the sloucher of them was lying in Ach' an Todhair. Whoso climbed Tom na-h-aire ? Many were the new paws there badly salted, the death-cloud on their eyes, lifeless after being scourged with sword-blades".

Loch Kirkaig is 1.25 miles south of Loch Inver. The scattered crofting township of Inverkirkaig is located at the headland of the bay, next to the pebbly beach, on the round bay, which has no known name. The name Kirgaig comes from old Norse, Kirkju-vik meaning church bay, perhaps suggesting that in Viking times, there was a church, with a village located in the bay.
