On 25 June 2017, "Fall" was ranked second on Playdata charts' list of the Most Played Songs in Nigeria. According to Rolling Stone magazine, "Fall" was one of the top-100-most-Shazam-searched singles in America in January 2019, and was a top-10 record on Shazam in New York. In February 2019, "Fall" became the longest charting Nigerian pop song in Billboard history. It was ranked 163 on Pitchfork's list of the 200 Best Songs of the 2010s. Divine Ikubor, known mononymously as Rema, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and rapper. He gained initial recognition with his 2019 song "Dumebi". That same year, he signed with D'Prince's record label, Jonzing World. He achieved international recognition with his 2022 single "Calm Down", which spawned a remix with American singer Selena Gomez that peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100. The song also led Billboard Afrobeats Songs chart for a record-setting 58 weeks.

Afrobeats, not to be confused with Afrobeat or Afroswing, is an umbrella term to describe popular music from West Africa and the diaspora that initially developed in Nigeria, Ghana, and the UK in the 2000s and 2010s. Afrobeats is less of a style per se, and more of a descriptor for the fusion of sounds flowing majorly out of Nigeria. Genres such as hiplife, jùjú music, highlife, azonto music, and naija beats, among others, were amalgamated under the "Afrobeats" umbrella.

"Love Nwantiti" is a song by Nigerian singer and songwriter CKay, released in 2019 as the second track from his second extended play Ckay the First by Chocolate City through Warner Music Group. A remix of the song titled "Love Nwantiti (Ah Ah Ah)" featuring Nigerian singer Joeboy and Ghanaian singer Kuami Eugene, released as a single in February 2020, became a commercial success in Nigeria, Middle East, North Africa and in many European club venues, as well as the subject of collaborations with few local artists for localised variations. The French version included vocals by French rapper Franglish.

His international hit single "Love Nwantiti", also known as "Love Nwantiti ", was released in 2019 by Chocolate City.

Victony Nigerian singer and rapper

Anthony Ebuka Victor, known professionally as Victony, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and rapper. He is from the Orsu local government area of Imo State. He was influenced while growing up by artists such as Davido, Wizkid, Mi, and Falz. He is signed to a Nigerian record label called Mainland BlockParty and Jungle Records. He released a debut studio album Saturn, in August 2020. He released his first single titled Ina Benz, which was his first appearance in the music industry.

During its debut week, the record gained popularity across TikTok in Europe and America, with the #FolakeChallenge hashtag.

Noble Zogli professionally known as Nektunez is an African-American music producer and a sound engineer. He came into the limelight after his Amapiano remix of the ERA song "Ameno" became a global hit in the last quarter of 2021. In December 2021, the remixed song debuted at number 1 on Billboard World Digital sales. It also became the number 1 song on Shazam global 200 chart. By February 2022, TikTok videos created with the song had almost 10 billion views. Billboard U.S. released its first top 10 Afrobeats charts, with ‘Ameno Amapiano Remix’ charting at number 7. Nektunez also Produced the late Mohbad’s Global hit Song, Ask about me, where He blends Amapiano perfectly with ancient choral chants, Afrobeat and Street-Rap genre. A remix along with American singer Camila Cabello was released on 9 December 2022 with new verses from Cabello.

She is best known for her appearance on Davido's 2023 song "In the Garden," which entered the  TurnTable Top 100. She signed with Sony Music Africa to release her debut extended play Ravi that same year, which peaked at number thirty three on the TurnTable Top 50 chart.
