Due to the team events being cancelled, only two competitions were held, which were men singles and in men doubles. Only Thailand, Burma and Laos took part in the events.

Indonesia won the women's singles and mixed doubles events while China won the men's singles & women's doubles categories. Malaysia secured a title in men's doubles discipline.
