He also won the mixed doubles bronze medal at the 2010 Asian Championships partnered with Tian Qing.

The Boys' Doubles tournament of the 2013 Asian Junior Badminton Championships was held from July 10–14 in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. The defending champion of the last edition were Arya Maulana Aldiartama and Edi Subaktiar from Indonesia. Aldiartama this time teamed-up with Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo, and standing in the top seeds. The final turned into all-Chinese final after Li Junhui / Liu Yuchen faced their fellow countrymen Huang Kaixiang / Zheng Siwei in the finals that won by Li and Liu in straight games 21–15, 21–14.

The Girls' Doubles tournament of the 2013 Asian Junior Badminton Championships was held from July 10–14 in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. South Korean pair Lee So-hee and Shin Seung-chan were the gold medalist in the last edition. The top two seeded Lam Narissapat / Puttita Supajirakul of Thailand and Chae Yoo-jung / Kim Ji-won of South Korea finished in the semifinals round, and settle for the bronze medal. The gold medal went to Chinese pair Huang Dongping and Jia Yifan after an all-Chinese final versus their teammates Chen Qingchen and He Jiaxin that they won by 21–19, 21–16.

The girls' doubles tournament of the 2014 Asian Junior Badminton Championships was held from February 19–23 in Taipei, Taiwan. The defending champion of the last edition were the Chinese pair Huang Dongping and Jia Yifan. Jia teamed-up with last year finalist Chen Qingchen this time as the first seeded, and emerge as the champion after beat their compatriot, the third seeded Du Yue and Li Yinhui in the finals with the score 21–11, 21–18.

Chen Xiaojia is a retired Chinese badminton player from Xiangtan, Hunan. She was selected to join the national second team in 2008. Chen was the gold medalist at the 2009 Asian Junior Championships and the bronze medalist at the World Junior Championships, She represented China at the 2009 East Asian Games, and claimed the gold medal in the women's team event, and a bronze medal in the women's singles. Chen clinched the women's singles title at the 2011 Indonesia Open Grand Prix Gold after beat the Frech veteran Pi Hongyan in rubber game.

Wang Chang is a Chinese badminton player. He was the boys' doubles World Junior champion and two times Asian Junior champion partnering Di Zijian. Wang was part of Chinese winning team at the 2023 Sudirman Cup, and together with Liang Weikeng, they won the bronze medal at the 2023 World Championships. Wang and Liang reached a career high of world number 2 on 13 June 2023.

Huang Zhanzhong is a Chinese badminton player. He won the men's doubles title at the 1995 Asian Cup, and was part of Chinese team that won the 1990 Asian Games and 1995 Sudirman Cup. Huang competed in the men's doubles tournament at the 1996 Summer Olympics.

The 1990 Badminton World Cup was the twelfth edition of an international tournament Badminton World Cup. The event was held from 14 November to 18 November 1990. Competitions for group stage were conducted in Bandung while final matches were scheduled for Istora Senayan in Jakarta. Indonesia won the women's singles and mixed doubles events while China won the men's singles & women's doubles categories. Malaysia secured a title in men's doubles discipline.

The 1971 Asia Badminton Championships was the 4th tournament of the Badminton Asia Championships. It was held August 1971 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The 1969 Asian Badminton Championships took place from 3–15 February 1969, in Manila, Philippines. Indonesia won the men's team competition after beating Malaysia 3–2 in the final. The match for third place between Japan and Philippines also ended 3–2.

The Asian Badminton Championships 1983 took place from 1 to 8 December in Calcutta, India. Both individual competitions and men's team competitions were conducted. At the end of the day, China took titles from four disciplines, Men's singles, Men's doubles, Women's doubles and Men's team competitions while South Korea won Women's singles and Mixed doubles events.

The 1980 Badminton World Cup was the second edition of an international tournament Badminton World Cup. The event was held in Kyoto, Japan in the month of January. Competitions for mixed doubles were not conducted. Indonesia won men's singles and men's doubles events while Japan won women's doubles and Denmark won women's singles event.

Badminton at the 1989 SEA Games was held at Cheras Stadium and Stadium Negara, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Events were conducted between 20 and 31 August. Final competitions were scheduled at Stadium Negara.

Liang Weikeng is a Chinese badminton player. He was part of Chinese winning team at the 2023 Sudirman Cup, and at the same year won the men's doubles bronze medal at the BWF World Championships partnered with Wang Chang. Liang and Wang won their first title as a pair in the 2022 Japan Open.

Lei Lanxi is a Chinese badminton player from Dongguan. He won a gold medal at the 2016 BWF World Junior Championships in the mixed team event.

Shang Yichen is a Chinese badminton player from Shanghai. He is part of the Chinese team that won gold in the 2018 BWF World Junior Championships.
