Badrabad (Persian : بدراباد‎, also Romanized as Badrābād)^[1] is a village in Mangur-e Gharbi Rural District, in the Central District of Piranshahr County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 71, in 10 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

The Central District of Piranshahr County is a district (bakhsh) in Piranshahr County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 84,920, in 16,657 families. The District has one city: Piranshahr. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Lahijan Rural District, Mangur-e Gharbi Rural District, and Piran Rural District.

Piranshahr County is a county in West Azerbaijan Province, in Iran. At the 2017 census, the county's population was 138,864; there were 20,617 families. Piranshahr County is subdivided into two districts, Central District and Lajan District, and has two cities: the county capital Piranshahr and Gerd Kashaneh.
