Law enforcement in Indonesia is mainly performed by the Indonesian National Police (POLRI),together with other law enforcement agencies which are under the president,a certain ministry or State-owned company (BUMN) which perform policing duties for a certain public service,these law enforcement agencies are under supervision and are trained by the Indonesian National Police. The Indonesian National Police is basically the national civilian police force of the country responsible for enforcing law and order of the state.

He previously served as Deputy Chief of Indonesian National Police accompanying National Police Chief Badrodin Haiti and Tito Karnavian. He is the second member of the police after Sutanto to lead the State Intelligence Agency.

A female assailant attacked police headquarters with a handgun and was shot dead after firing several rounds. The shooting happened three days after the cathedral bombing in Makassar.

Following Danny's death,Napoleon was subsequently reappointed as Kabinda and served until he passed away due to a heart attack in 2022.

He began his military career in Kopassus,but was removed from the unit after being convicted for recreational drug use. Upon his release,he was assigned to various positions in the Presidential Security Force,State Intelligence Agency,army territorial units,and the Ministry of Defence.
Ahmad Luthfi is an Indonesian police officer and politician who served as the inspector general of the Ministry of Trade for several weeks in August 2024. He was a three-star police general,with his last office being the chief of Central Java police from 2020 until 2024. He is currently the KIM-Plus coalition candidate for the governor of Central Java.
Dharma Pongrekun is an Indonesian former three-star police general,analyst,evangelist,media personality and politician who served as the Vice Head of the National Cyber and Crypto Agency from 17 July 2019 to 7 October 2021 under Hinsa Siburian. Previously,he served two offices in the Criminal Investigation Agency in 2015 and 2016. He retired from the police force in 2024. He is a declared candidate in the upcoming 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election and is running with Kun Wardana Abyoto,and academic,as potential vice governor.
Sang Made Mahendra Jaya is a retired Indonesian National Police officer who since 5 September 2023 served as Acting Governor of Bali. He also serves as Special Staff for Security and Legal Affairs of the Indonesian Minister of Home Affairs.
