Baexem (Limburgish : Boaksum/Boakse) is a village in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is a part of the municipality of Leudal, and lies about 9 kilometres northwest of Roermond.

In 2001, Baexem had 1961 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.58 km², and contained 774 residences. [1]

Until 1991, Baexem was a separate municipality; it then became a part of Heythuysen.
