Rivermaya is a Filipino alternative rock band. Formed in 1994, it is one of the several bands who spearheaded the 1990s Philippine alternative rock explosion.
Raimund Emmanuel Parcon Marasigan is a Filipino rock musician and record producer. His first name is often misspelled Raymond or Raimond though he personally prefers to spell his name as Raymund. The breadth of his projects has made him one of the most well-respected mainstays of the Philippine rock band scene. He was the drummer, vocalist and lyricist alongside bandmate Ely Buendia of The Eraserheads, and the current keyboard/synths player for Pedicab, former rhythm guitarist and now frontman of Sandwich, current drummer of Cambio, vocalist of Project 1 and the man behind Squid 9. Currently, he holds bass for his newest band, Gaijin. Aside from writing songs and being a musician, he is also a record producer, voice actor, TV host and product endorser.
John Paul "Japs" Ricafranca Sergio is a former bassist/vocalist/guitarist/songwriter of the Filipino band Rivermaya and the current guitarist/vocalist/frontman for the band Peso Movement.
You'll Be Safe Here is an EP by OPM band Rivermaya that features the eponymous song first used as the theme song of the 2005 ABS-CBN TV show Spirits. It has two music videos, where the second video used an advanced technology that translates the song's lyrics. This song was also played at the 2006 MTV Asia Awards, where Rivermaya was the only Filipino band to perform in the show.

It is the first album to introduce Rico Blanco as the band's full-time guitarist. after the departure of Perf de Castro the year previous. Since the album release, the album went gold overnight and reached platinum status in six days and the carrier single "Kisapmata" becomes the most requested tune in Top Rating FM Stations. On June 30, 1996 the band launched their first Music Video on their next single "Himala" at the TV show ASAP.
