Behlul Mustafazade (Azerbaijani : Bəhlul Ələmdar oğlu Mustafazadə; born 27 February 1997) is an Azerbaijani professional footballer who plays as a defender for Qarabağ FK in the Azerbaijan Premier League, and the Azerbaijan national football team.

Club

On 7 February 2017, Mustafazadə joined Sumgayit FK on loan from Gabala FK. [2]

On 26 June 2019, Mustafazadə signed a three-year contract with Sabah. [3]

In the summer of 2021, Mustafazadə left Sabah to sign for Al Ain, however the UAE club subsequently cancelled the transfer, leaving Mustafazadə a free agent. [4]

On 29 July 2021, Qarabağ announced the signing of Mustafazadə to a three-year contract. [5]

Mustafazadə made his debut for Azerbaijan on 6 September 2019 in their UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying match against Wales. [6]

The 2016–17 season is Gabala FK's 12th season, and their 11th in the Azerbaijan Premier League, the top-flight of Azerbaijani football. As well as participating in the Premier League, Gabala will take part in the Azerbaijan Cup and UEFA Europa League.

Qarabağ were crowned Champions for the 7th season in a row when the season was curtailed on 19 June, whilst they had reached the semi-finals of the Azerbaijan Cup when it was ended. In Europe, Qarabağ were knocked out of the Champions League by APOEL in the Third qualifying round, dropping into the Europa League where they finished 3rd in a group with Sevilla, APOEL and Dudelange.

After finishing the previous season in third place, Sabail qualified for the UEFA Europa League for the first time, entering at the first qualifying round stage with a tie against CS Universitatea Craiova.
