Alka Lamba is an Indian politician serving for the President of All India Mahila Congress. After serving the Indian National Congress in various capacities for more than 20 years, she quit to join the Aam Aadmi Party on 26 December 2014. In February 2015, Lamba was elected to the Delhi Legislative Assembly from Chandni Chowk. She quit AAP in September 2019 citing disrespect for her within the party. On 6 September 2019, she formally returned to the Congress party. Sharad Kumar Chauhan, also known as Sharad Chauhan and Sharad Kumar, is an Indian politician, from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). He was a member of the Sixth Legislative Assembly of Delhi (MLA) from Nerela constituency also elected as Parliament Secretary of Revenue.
Legislative Assembly elections were held in Delhi on 8 February 2020 to elect 70 members of the Delhi Legislative Assembly. Voters turnout was recorded at 62.82%, a decline of 4.65% from the previous assembly election in Delhi but 2.2% more than the 2019 Indian general election in Delhi. The term of the assembly elected in 2015 expired on 22 February 2020. The Aam Aadmi Party, led by Arvind Kejriwal won 62 seats to claim an absolute majority in the elections.
Chitra Sarwara is daughter of Chaudhary Nirmal Singh Mohra and a second generation politician. She was a former member of Aam Aadmi Party led by Arvind Kejriwal and was appointed as State Vice President, Haryana since April 2023. She joined Indian National Congress in January 2024.
Preeti Tomar is an Indian politician from Delhi belonging to Aam Aadmi Party. She is a member of the Delhi Legislative Assembly. Her husband Jitender Singh Tomar is a former member of the Delhi Legislative Assembly.
