Bar Aftab (Persian : برافتاب, also Romanized as Bar Āftāb; also known as Barāftābeh) [1] is a village in Cham Chamal Rural District, Bisotun District, Harsin County, Kermanshah Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 136, in 34 families. [2]

Bisotun District is a district (bakhsh) in Harsin County, Kermanshah Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 24,793, in 5,758 families. The district has one city: Bisotun. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Cham Chamal Rural District and Shizar Rural District.
Harsin County is a county in Kermanshah Province in western Iran, part of what is unofficially referred to as Iranian Kurdistan. The capital of the county is Harsin. The county is bounded to the north by Sahneh County, to the south by Khorramabad County in Lorestan Province, to the east by Nahavand County in Hamadan Province and to the west by Kermanshah County. The county is subdivided into two districts: the Central District and Bisotun District. The county has two cities: Harsin and Bisotun. The town of Harsin is 44 kilometres (27 mi) east of Kermanshah, 1,570 metres (5,150 ft) above sea level.
