In 2018 a multi format re-mastered limited deluxe edition was released. Initially available in a 3 CD and 1 DVD with the full 5.1 surround sound mix and 33 bonus tracks, there is also a 2 CD edition with the remaster and a limited number of bonus tracks. [6]

They were founded in Oldham, in September 1966 by bassist/vocalist Les Holroyd, guitarist/vocalist John Lees, drummer/percussionist Mel Pritchard (1948–2004), and keyboardist/vocalist Stuart "Woolly" Wolstenholme (1947–2010).

Never Cry Another Tear is the only studio album by Bad Lieutenant. It was released in the UK on 12 October 2009, and in the US on 10 November 2009. Ex-New Order member Bernard Sumner formed the group with Jake Evans and Phil Cunningham. The three guitarists wrote and performed the album together with a number of additional musicians.
