Beautiful World is the tenth studio album of the Japanese boy band Arashi. The album was released on July 6, 2011, in Japan under their record label J Storm in two editions: a limited edition version with a 48-page booklet and a regular CD version with a 32-page booklet. [2] The album debuted at number-one on the Oricon weekly album chart, selling 631,000 copies, making it their third consecutive album to reach sales of more than half a million copies. As of December 2011, the album has sold more than a million copies. [3] According to Oricon, Beautiful World is the best-selling album of 2011 in Japan. [4] It was released digitally on February 7, 2020. [5] [6]
Both the first press and regular versions contain eighteen tracks. On November 28, 2011, a limited edition of the album was released exclusively by the shopping site "7-net". It consists of a bonus track Energy Song ~Zekkou chou chou (エナジーソング~絶好調超!!!!~), composed by member Kazunari Ninomiya and lyrics penned by the group.
"Beautiful World" includes five of the group's previously released singles: "To be free", "Love Rainbow", "Dear Snow", "Hatenai Sora" and "Lotus". "To be free" was used as the song for Mistuya Cider commercial with member Sho Sakurai as the endorser. [7] "Love Rainbow" was the theme song for the drama Natsu no Koi wa Nijiiro ni Kagayaku (夏の恋は虹色に輝く, lit. Summer Romance Shines in Rainbow Colours) starring member Jun Matsumoto. [8] "Dear Snow" and "Hatenai Sora" were used as theme songs for the movie "Ōoku: The Inner Chambers" and drama Freeter, Ie o Kau. (フリーター、家を買う。, lit. Part-time Worker Buys a House) respectively, starring member Kazunari Ninomiya. [9] [10] "Lotus" was used as theme song for Bartender (バーテンダー) starring member Masaki Aiba. [11]
"Tooku Made" was used as the theme song for a Japan Airlines commercial starring the group.
It was announced on July 24, 2011, that Japan Airlines will use two Boeing 777-200 bearing both the images of the members of Arashi and the words "ARASHI Beautiful World". The planes titled JAL Arashi JET (JAL嵐JET) will be used for domestic flights, and the album with specially designed in-flight covers will be available, from July 25, 2011, to January 27, 2012. This marks the group's second time to have their images featured on an aircraft of the same airline. [12] [13]

Arashi is a Japanese boy band consisting of five members formed under the Johnny & Associates talent agency. The members are Satoshi Ohno, Sho Sakurai, Masaki Aiba, Kazunari Ninomiya, and Jun Matsumoto. Arashi officially formed on September 15, 1999, in Honolulu, Hawaii, and made their debut CD on November 3, 1999. The group was initially signed to Pony Canyon and released one studio album and six singles—beginning with their 1999 eponymous debut single before moving to the Johnny's subsidiary label J Storm in 2001, which was initially set up for their succeeding releases. While their debut single sold close to a million copies, the group took a mixture of pop and alternate/contemporary approach to its music which attracted core followers, but subsequently faced commercially slow sales.
Satoshi Ohno is a Japanese idol, singer, actor, radio host, artist, dancer, and choreographer. He is the lead vocalist and leader of the boy band Arashi, hence his nickname Leader.
Kazunari Ninomiya, often called Nino (ニノ), is a Japanese singer, songwriter, actor, voice actor, presenter and radio host. He is a member of the Japanese idol group Arashi.
Iza, Now! (いざッ、Now!) is the fourth studio album of Japanese boy band Arashi. It was released on 21 July 2004 through J Storm. Two singles were released from the album: "Hadashi no Mirai/Kotoba Yori Taisetsu na Mono" and "Pikanchi Double". The album debuted at number one in Japan, selling 115,000 copies in its first week.
2004 Arashi! Iza, Now Tour!! is the fourth video album by Japanese boy band Arashi. The Yoitoko limited edition comes with a 32-page lyrics booklet, and the regular edition comes with a 36-page lyrics booklet.
