According to the Gibbs' biography, the brothers had initial reservations about offering the song to Ross in case it was too Motown-like for her.

The double A-side version was issued in Australia in November 2004, and "Ghetto Musick" was added to US radio during the same month.

This is the second Westlife single Red Triangle co-produced while this is the first single of Westlife to be produced by Feehily and by a Westlife member.
