Bellport High School is the public high school for the South Country Central School District, which is located in Suffolk County, Long Island in the United States. It serves students in grades 9-12 in Bellport, East Patchogue, Brookhaven Hamlet and parts of Medford and North Bellport. The principal is Erika Della Rosa. It is preceded by Bellport Middle School. According to 2007 data, 75.8% of Bellport graduates earn a New York State Regent's diploma. 51.6% of graduates plan to attend 4 year college, and 33.2% plan to attend a 2-year college, usually Suffolk County Community College. [4] [5]
Advanced Placement courses are offered in European History, U.S. History, U.S. Government and Politics, English Language and Composition, English Literature and Composition, Calculus, Statistics, Art, Art History, Music Theory, Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Environmental Science. [6]
The Football team won the County Championship in 1992, 1995, 1996, 1997, 2001, 2005, 2006, 2010, 2021, & 2022. The teams went on to win the Long Island Championship in 1992, 1995, 1997, 2001, 2005, & 2010.
State titles were won in Boys Basketball in 1980, Boys Football in 1982 and 2001, and Boys Cross Country in 1964. The school offers a wide range of both Junior Varsity and Varsity sports.
The Girls Volleyball team clinched their first Class "A" Championship during the 2010 season, making their first ever trip to States where they lost in the first round.
The Wrestling team had huge success in the late 1990s winning the League Dual Meet Titles in 1997 and 1998, as well as winning the League Tournament Title in 1997.
The Boys Cross Country Team won League Titles in 1992, led by James Fuoco and James Arnold, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2011. In 1998, they won their first Division title in school history. A Division title was also won in 2006.
The Boys Track team won League Titles in 1990, 1991, 1992, and 1993.
The Dance Team has brought home second place from NDA Nationals in Orlando Florida two years in a row, 2013 and 2014.
Hunter College High School is a secondary school located on Park Avenue at 94th Street in the Carnegie Hill neighborhood on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. It is administered by Hunter College of the City University of New York (CUNY). Hunter is publicly funded, and there is no tuition fee. Enrollment is approximately 1200 students. According to the school, "students accepted to Hunter represent the top one-quarter of 1% of students in New York City, based on test scores."
Malvern Preparatory School, commonly referred to as Malvern Prep, is an independent Catholic middle school and college preparatory high school for boys located in Malvern, Pennsylvania within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. The school was started and is still run by Order of Saint Augustine and is a member of the Augustinian Secondary Education Association. Malvern Prep is a member of the Inter-Academic League which also includes Episcopal Academy, Germantown Academy, Penn Charter, The Haverford School, and Springside Chestnut Hill Academy.
Bishop Feehan High School is a co-educational Catholic high school in Attleboro, Massachusetts. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fall River. The school was built in 1961 and staffed by the Sisters of Mercy. The school has grown to over 1,000 students. Each class is approximately 250+ students, who are selected from a significantly larger pool of applicants.

Christian Brothers Academy, located in the Lincroft section of Middletown Township, New Jersey, is a private, all-boys preparatory school for grades nine to twelve, with a focus on Christian education. The school is run by the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, founded by St. Jean-Baptiste de La Salle. Christian Brothers Academy was originally a farm owned by the prominent Whitney family of New York City, and home to their renowned Greentree Stable. The land was eventually given to the Christian Brothers for the purpose of teaching. The school opened for the first time in September 1959 and was blessed by the Bishop of Trenton on October 11, 1959. Christian Brothers Academy operates independently from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Trenton and is governed by a board of trustees.

Ocean View High School (OVHS) is a public comprehensive college-prep academy located in Huntington Beach, California. OVHS was established in 1976; their mascot is the Seahawks. Currently, there are approximately 1,470 enrolled students. It is part of the HBUHSD school district, with five other high schools. The school is unique in that it features the only IB Program in the district. The implementation of “embedded tutorial” at the end of each period two years ago resulted in the biggest drop in the total number of D and F grades for students in the district. It features a business academy that has 170 participants, the sole Mandarin Chinese foreign language program in the district, and a college preparation curriculum. In addition, the school boasts the highest senior satisfaction survey results of the district. OVHS is also a two-time California Distinguished School.
