Bengalon is a district within East Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. According to the 2010 census, Bengalon was inhabited by 22,794 people. It is the location of the Bengalon coal mine.

The GE U20C diesel-electric locomotive was introduced by GE Transportation Systems as an export model in 1964. It was powered by the 8-cylinder 7FDL-8 engine. This locomotive is used worldwide with many variations and modifications. Different engines may be used, e.g. 7FDL8 and 7FDL12. Like the other members of the Universal series, it can be built to suit all track gauges.

The Sangatta Coal Mine is a coal mine located in East Kalimantan. The mine has coal reserves amounting to 3.6 billion tonnes of coking coal, one of the largest coal reserves in Asia and the world. The mine has an annual production capacity of 35.7 million tonnes of coal.
The Ombilin Coal Mine is a coal mine near Sawahlunto, West Sumatra, Indonesia. It is located in a narrow valley along the Bukit Barisan mountains, among the Polan, Pari, and Mato hills, approximately 70 kilometres (43 mi) northeast of Padang. Coal was discovered in the mid-19th century by Willem Hendrik de Greve, and mining began in the area in 1876. The mine is the oldest coal mining site in Southeast Asia.
The EMD GT38AC diesel-electric locomotives are made by Electro-Motive Diesel for export in Indonesia. There are 91 locomotives owned by the state-owned Indonesian Railway Company, all of them are for in Sumatra and replace the aging EMD G26. It's also one of two most advanced-technology locomotive in Indonesia.
Nambo Station (NMO) is a railway station located in Bantar Jati, Klapanunggal, Bogor Regency. Together with three other stations located on this line, it was only inaugurated in 1997, which makes it one of the newest station in the network. At the beginning, this line was planned to be incorporated into a larger circular line network, ranging from Cikarang, via Jonggol to Parung Panjang. This plan had to be postponed due to the 1997 economic crisis.
