Borough Park is a neighborhood in the southwestern part of the borough of Brooklyn, in New York City. The neighborhood is bordered by Bensonhurst to the south, Dyker Heights to the southwest, Sunset Park to the west, Kensington and Green-Wood Cemetery to the northeast, Flatbush to the east, and Midwood to the southeast.
Bay Ridge is a neighborhood in the southwest corner of the New York City borough of Brooklyn. It is bounded by Sunset Park on the north, Dyker Heights on the east, the Narrows and the Belt Parkway on the west, and Fort Hamilton Army Base and the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge on the south. The section of Bay Ridge south of 86th Street is sometimes considered part of a sub-neighborhood called Fort Hamilton.

It is bordered by Coney Island Avenue to the east, Fort Hamilton Parkway and Caton Avenue to the north, McDonald Avenue and 36th Street to the west, and 18th Avenue to the south. The neighborhoods that border Kensington and Parkville are Ditmas Park and Prospect Park South to the east, Windsor Terrace to the north, Borough Park to the west, and Midwood to the south.

It is bounded by Ocean Parkway to the west; Avenue T and Kings Highway to the north; Nostrand Avenue and Gerritsen Avenue to the east; and the Atlantic Ocean to the south. Sheepshead Bay is abutted by the neighborhoods of Brighton Beach and Homecrest to the west; Midwood to the north; and Gerritsen Beach to the east.
Bath Beach is a neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York City, United States. It is located at the southwestern edge of the borough on Gravesend Bay. The neighborhood borders Bensonhurst and New Utrecht to the northeast across 86th Street; Dyker Beach Park and Golf Course to the northwest across 14th Avenue; and Gravesend to the east across Stillwell Avenue.
South Brooklyn is a historic term for a section of the former City of Brooklyn – now the New York City borough of Brooklyn – encompassing what are now the Boerum Hill, Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Gowanus, Park Slope, Windsor Terrace, Sunset Park and Red Hook neighborhoods. It was named for its location along the waterfront that was the southern border of the original Village of Brooklyn, and has remained widely used as a colloquialism despite it no longer being the southernmost point of the borough. It should not be confused with the geographic southern region of the modern borough of Brooklyn, which includes the neighborhoods of Gravesend, Seagate, Coney Island, Brighton Beach, Manhattan Beach, Sheepshead Bay, Gerritsen Beach, Marine Park, Mill Basin, and Bergen Beach.
The Edith and Carl Marks Jewish Community House of Bensonhurst was incorporated in 1927 and has helped over one million Jews in the Bensonhurst section of New York City's borough of Brooklyn. It initially served as a community center for Eastern European Jewish immigrants and their children. As the complexion of the Jewish community in Bensonhurst changed, its community center changed in accord. During the 1940s and 1950s, a large influx of Syrian Jews immigrated to the area. It was during this period that Sandy Koufax, the son of Jewish immigrants, played on the basketball courts of the JCH. In the 1980s, a third wave of immigrants, this time from the former Soviet Union, once again shifted the focus of the community center.
Bay Parkway is a 2.7-mile (7.82 km) boulevard/parkway in the west portion of the New York City borough of Brooklyn.
The Bay Parkway station is a local station on the BMT Sea Beach Line of the New York City Subway, located in Gravesend, Brooklyn at the intersection of Bay Parkway and West Seventh Street. It is served by the N train at all times. During rush hours, several W and northbound Q trains also serve the station.
Mapleton is a neighborhood in southern Brooklyn, New York City, bounded by 16th Avenue on the west, Dahill Road on the east, 57th Street on the north, and 65th Street on the south. It borders Bensonhurst and Borough Park to the west, and Midwood to the east.
The first Brooklyn Chinatown, was originally established in the Sunset Park area of the New York City borough of Brooklyn. It is one of the largest and fastest growing ethnic Chinese enclaves outside of Asia, as well as within New York City itself. As this Chinatown is rapidly evolving into an enclave predominantly of Fuzhou immigrants from Fujian Province in China, it is now increasingly common to refer to it as the Little Fuzhou or Fuzhou Town of the Western Hemisphere; as well as the largest Fuzhou enclave of New York City.
Seth Low Playground is a five-acre park located in the Bensonhurst neighborhood of Brooklyn. The park is named after Seth Low, a former Mayor of New York City and president of Columbia University. The City acquired this playground in 1924 as a park. Prior to this, it was the site of Indian Pond, a historical watering hole and ice skating location near the border of the former towns of New Utrecht and Gravesend. The park is bounded by Stillwell Avenue, Bay Parkway, West 12th Street and Avenue P. In 1896, the pond was filled with ash from a trash incinerator, covering it entirely.
Bensonhurst Park is a park in Bath Beach, Brooklyn, New York City. The park stretches from the north border at Cropsey Avenue to the south border at Lower New York Bay. The park has a playground on the north-east side, a field in the middle of the playground and several basketball courts on the west side. There is also a bathroom in the northwest side of the park.
Yeshiva Ohel Moshe is a Bensonhurst-based, Modern Orthodox co-ed day school that was opened in 1927 or 1928, a time when most Brooklyn-based Jewish education was via Talmud Torah.
Adventurer's Park is a small amusement park in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn in New York City. It is a concession located within the city-owned Nellie Bly Park, next to the Belt Parkway. The concession, also originally named Nellie Bly Park, features classic kiddie rides and arcade games as well as a Ferris wheel, go carts and miniature golf.
