Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church is located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States. The congregation was established in either 1870 or 1871, which makes this the oldest historically African American church in the city. It had 23 pastors from its inception to 1928, which followed the African Methodist Episcopal Church's practice of itinerant pastors. The congregation grew slowly over this same period. Many African Americans came to Cedar Rapids after the coal industry in Southern Iowa began to collapse. The Rev. Benjamin Horace Lucas, who became pastor here in 1928, was also a catalyst for growth in the congregation. Completed in 1931, this brick Colonial Revival structure replaced a wood-frame structure from 1876. Since its completion, it has served the social and religious needs of the community. It is one of the few surviving links to Cedar Rapid's early African American community as this neighborhood has been nearly obliterated by the development of Mercy Medical Center. The church building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

The First Presbyterian Church in Greeneville, Tennessee is a historic congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) located in downtown Greeneville, TN. It was the first church established in Greeneville and is one of the oldest churches in the State of Tennessee. First Presbyterian Church, originally Mount Bethel Presbyterian Church, was first gathered in 1780 at the Big Spring in downtown Greeneville, with the first services preached by traveling frontier minister Samuel Doak. In 1783, regular services began, and Rev. Hezekiah Balch was the first settled minister.
Glady Presbyterian Church and Manse is a historic Presbyterian church and parsonage at the junction of Randolph Ave. and 1st Street in Glady, Randolph County, West Virginia. The church was built in 1905, and is a Late Gothic Revival style building. It sits on a stone pier foundation, has wood drop siding and a standing seam metal, front gable roof with exposed, curved rafter ends under the eaves. It features a pyramidal steeple. The manse was built in 1908, and is a simple, two-story, American Foursquare building on a concrete block foundation and a hipped roof. Also on the property is a privy built by the Works Progress Administration about 1935.

It was one of three black churches in Parkersburg and was the oldest black church building in west central West Virginia. The church was located in a neighborhood of late 19th-century wood-frame houses only a block from downtown.

It was built in 1873 to a design by Wheeling architect Stanton M. Howard. It was a simple rectangle in form with a projecting vestibule, in the Late Victorian Gothic style. It was constructed of brick and stone, with steeply pitched roofs, parapet gables, and an open belfry. The church was active in founding West Liberty Academy in 1838, which is now West Liberty University.

Bethel Memorial Church, also known as Bethel Baptist Memorial Church, is a historic Baptist church building located at White Post, Clarke County, Virginia. It replaced an earlier log Quaker meeting house, used by the Baptist congregation from 1808. Bethel was built between 1833 and 1836, and is a two-story, rectangular brick church in the Federal style. It has a front gable roof. The interior features many well-preserved elements including oil lamps installed in 1874 and grain painted pews. The front of the church features separate entrance doors for men and women. Also on the property is a contributing church cemetery.
McClung Farm Historic District is a historic home and national historic district located at McDowell, Highland County, Virginia. The district encompasses seven contributing buildings, three contributing sites, and three contributing structures. The main house was built in 1844, and is a two-story, five bay, brick dwelling with a single-pile, central-passage plan and an original two-story rear addition in a vernacular Federal style. It has a three bay wide front porch. The contributing buildings and structures besides the house include: a large barn, a small barn, a cattle ramp, an outhouse, a corncrib, a smokehouse, a shed, and the Clover Creek Presbyterian Church and its outhouse. The contributing sites are a wood shed foundation, the ruins of the McClung Mill, and the Clover Creek Presbyterian Church cemetery.
The Spencer Presbyterian Church, also known locally as the Market Street Chapel, is a historic church building at 408 Market Street in Spencer, West Virginia. It is a single-story T-shaped brick building, with a cross-gabled roof. The gable ends are adorned with large Gothic windows, and there is a square tower at the crook of the T, housing the main entrance and rising to an octagonal belfry and cross-topped octagonal roof. It was built in 1903, and is prominent as an example of brick construction when most churches in the area were wooden. It is also a significant local example of Late Victorian Gothic architecture.
