Beti Sekulovski (born 17 May 1983) is a former professional tennis player from Australia.

Biography

Sekulovski was born in Melbourne, to parents who emigrated from Macedonia. [1]

On the professional tour, she had a highest singles ranking of 273 and was ranked 120 in the world for doubles. [2]

She made two main-draw appearances in the women's doubles at the Australian Open, both times as a wildcard pairing with Cindy Watson.

Since retiring, she has worked as a tennis coach and is currently coaching Jaimee Fourlis. [3]

In addition, Sekulovski appeared in the movie, Wimbledon, starring Kirsten Dunst.

The 2021 Yarra Valley Classic was a tournament on the 2021 WTA Tour, one of six events in the 2021 Melbourne Summer Series. It was played on outdoor hard courts in Melbourne, Australia. It was organised as a lead-up tournament to the 2021 Australian Open, and was held at the same venue, due to other tournaments in Australia being cancelled as a result from the COVID-19 pandemic. This tournament took place simultaneously with the 2021 Gippsland Trophy and the 2021 Grampians Trophy. Players who had originally intended to participate in this tournament or the Gippsland Trophy, but were forced to undergo strict quarantine measures upon arrival in Australia, were able to participate in the 2021 Grampians Trophy. Kristina Mladenovic and Ivan Dodig defeated Jaimee Fourlis and Jason Kubler in the final, 6–3, 6–4 to win the mixed doubles tennis title at the 2022 Australian Open. Though it was their first major title as a team, the win earned Mladenovic her third Mixed doubles title and Dodig his fourth.

The 2022 Internazionali Femminili di Palermo was a professional women's tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts at the Country Time Club. It was the 30th edition of the tournament and part of the 2022 WTA Tour. It took place in Palermo, Italy, between 18 and 24 July 2022.
