Bintan Resorts is the name for a resort enclave occupying the northern area of the Indonesian island of Bintan. It consists of nine resorts, plus a small service apartment development.
Although the area is within Indonesian territory, the island is marketed at residents from nearby Singapore, for whom Bintan is a short ferry trip away. The development received 410,454 visitors in 2009, of which the largest proportion, almost 30% were Singaporean.
The area is generally a short-stay destination, with 90% of visitors staying less than seven days.

Sentosa Island, known mononymously as Sentosa, and formerly Pulau Belakang Mati, is an island located off the southern coast of Singapore's main island. The island is separated from the main island of Singapore by a channel of water, the Keppel Harbour, and is adjacent to Pulau Brani, a smaller island wedged between Sentosa and the main island.

Pulau Nikoi is a 15-hectare (37-acre) resort island located 8 kilometres (5 mi) off the east coast of Bintan, Indonesia, approximately 85 kilometres (53 mi) southeast of Singapore. The leasehold for the island was purchased by Australian Andrew Dixon in 2005 and developed, with the aid of a group of friends, into a boutique private island resort named Nikoi Island. The resort opened in 2007, and as of 2020 consists of eighteen beach houses. The island has been ranked as one of the best private islands in the world by Condé Nast Traveller and reviewed extensively by the world's travel press.
Bintan Regency is an administrative area in the Riau Islands Province of Indonesia. Bintan Regency includes all of Bintan Island and also includes many outlying islands including the Tambelan Archipelago and Badas Islands situated between Bintan and West Kalimantan.
The Grand Mosque of the Sultan of Riau on Penyengat Island is located outside Tanjung Pinang on Bintan island, Indonesia. The mosque was built in 1844 and is today one of Tanjung Pinang's most popular attractions for visitors.

Set in 1.2 acres, it has a 1/2-hole golf course designed by Gary Player. Club Med Ria Bintan is an example. At the time of establishment, Southeast Asia was experiencing a financial crisis, but the hotel was a success.
