Bintaro Jaya is a planned township located in Greater Jakarta, Indonesia. It is developed by PT Jaya Real Property Tbk (formerly PT Bintaro Jaya). [1] The development of the township began within South Jakarta in 1979 and is expanded further to South Tangerang in Banten province. The township is built as a satellite city for Jakarta, with a total land area of about 1000 hectares. The name Bintaro is derived from the Bintaro Village, which also takes the name of Bintaro plant ( Cerbera manghas ), whereas Jaya came from the name of the developer.
Bintaro Jaya started being developed in 1979 by PT Jaya Real Property Tbk, a subsidiary of PT Pembangunan Jaya whose majority shares are owned by the DKI Jakarta Regional Government. For 25 years, Jaya Property has been known as one of the capital's real estate companies. PT Pembangunan Jaya carries out the construction and management of housing and property projects, including Graha Raya, Puri Jaya, Plaza Bintaro Jaya, Plaza Slipi Jaya, and the Senen Trade Center block IV–V.
Bintaro Jaya was the first to introduce the concept of a "garden city" in Indonesia. 26 years later, Bintaro Jaya uses the slogan "The Professional's City" to reflect its marketing strategy as the residence of choice for Jakarta's intellectuals and professionals. It houses a variety of facilities to support the physical and social environment as designed to meet the residents' needs for comfortable housing.
The township is originally divided into 9 sectors. Sectors 1 and 2 of the township are located in Bintaro district of South Jakarta, whereas sectors 3 to 9 are located in Pondok Aren and Ciputat districts of South Tangerang. The central business district of Bintaro Jaya is located in Sector 7, hosting offices, malls, apartments, and retail shophouses.

The township has many office buildings along with the residential clusters. There are hospitals, educational institutions, shopping malls, mosques and churches, a driving range and playground.
Bintaro Jaya also has a direct access from the Ulujami-Serpong Toll Road (on the Pondok Aren exit at KM 5-6), as well as Kunciran–Serpong Toll Road (on the Parigi exit at KM 21)
Bintaro Jaya is connected with Green Line of KRL Commuterline commuter rail network, with Pondok Ranji and Jurangmangu stations located in the township. TransJakarta operates feeder routes to connect the township with Jakarta. [4] It has shuttle bus services both for within the township and to connect other parts of Jakarta, which are known as Trans Bintaro and Intrans Bintaro Jaya respectively. Cilandak is a district in the administrative city of South Jakarta, Indonesia. The Krukut River flows through the eastern edge of Cilandak, while the Pesanggrahan and Grogol Rivers flow through the western edge.

Tangerang Regency is a regency of Banten province, Indonesia. It is located on the island of Java. The current regent is Ahmed Zaki Iskandar. Though commonly misunderstood as being a part of Jakarta, Tangerang is actually outside Jakarta City but is part of Greater Jakarta. Since 1993, the regency has lost territory as first Tangerang city was split off on 27 February 1993 and subsequently South Tangerang city was split off on 29 October 2008. The residual Regency now has an area of 959.61 km2 and a population of 2,834,376 at the 2010 census, growing to 3,245,619 at the 2020 census; the latest official estimate is 3,352,472. Tigaraksa is the regency seat.

Pesanggrahan is a district in the administrative city of South Jakarta, Indonesia. The name Pesanggrahan is derived from Pesanggrahan River, which flows along the eastern edge of the district. Pesanggrahan was originally part of the district Kebayoran Lama, but was later split into a separate district. Pesanggrahan is bordered by the cities of Tangerang and South Tangerang to the west, West Jakarta to the north, and the district of Kebayoran Lama to the east.

The area covers 29.88 km2 and had a population at the 2020 Census of 294,996. Pondok Aren district mainly covers the area of Bintaro Jaya and borders South Jakarta to the east. Pondok Aren district office is located at Jl. Graha Raya Bintaro, Perigi Baru behind the Pondok Aren Sectoral Police office.
South Tangerang is a city in the province of Banten, Indonesia. Located 30 km (19 mi) on the southwestern border of Jakarta, the city forms part of the Greater Jakarta metropolitan area. It was administratively separated from Tangerang Regency on 26 November 2008. According to the 2020 Census, the city population was 1,354,350 inhabitants, while the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 1,378,466. The total area is 164.85 km2 (63.65 sq mi). It's the second-largest city in Banten in terms of population, and has grown rapidly, not only as Jakarta's satellite city, but also the development of business districts and commerce due to presence of large-scale planned town by private developers.
Perigi Lama, Parigi Lama, or simply Perigi is a kelurahan (village) at Pondok Aren district, South Tangerang, Banten. Perigi Lama in Indonesian means "Old Perigi" because the neighboring kelurahan/village is called Perigi Baru which in opposite means "New Perigi".
BSD City, formerly referred to Bumi Serpong Damai is a planned community located within Greater Jakarta in Indonesia. The project was initiated in 1984 by a group of private developers and started in 1989. The town is currently managed by the holding company PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk, which is owned by Sinar Mas Land, a subsidiary of the Sinar Mas Group, a large industrial conglomerate in Indonesia. BSD City encompasses a total area of approximately 6,000 hectares, hosting a range of residential houses, apartments, malls, offices, and more. Most of the residential areas are designed to be suitable for Indonesia's upper-middle class, in gated neighbourhoods, each with different themes. The city is now a self-sustaining community, with businesses, schools, shopping malls, hospitals and hotels.

The KRL Commuterline Tanah Abang–Rangkasbitung or the Rangkasbitung Line, officially the Rangkasbitung Commuter Line, is a commuter rail line in Indonesia, operated by PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia (KCI). The line connects Tanah Abang station in Central Jakarta and Rangkasbitung station in Lebak Regency, Banten. On maps and diagrams, the line is shown using the color "green". Tanah Abang–Rangkasbitung line is the longest and fourth busiest line in the KRL Commuterline system.

Pondok Ranji Station (PDJ) is a railway station on the KRL Commuterline Green Line in East Ciputat, South Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia. On August 20, 2020, Minister of Transportation, Budi Karya Sumadi, attended the Groundbreaking New Image and Accessibility Improvement of Pondok Ranji Station. The inauguration is the start of the construction or renovation of Pondok Ranji station. In January 2022, the renovations have finished and Pondok Ranji station has a new shape.
Jurangmangu Station (JMG) is a class III railway station located in Sawah Lama, Ciputat, South Tangerang. The station is located at an elevation of +25 meters above sea level and is included in Operation Area I Jakarta. Even though it is called Jurangmangu, this station is not located in Jurangmangu Village, Pondok Aren District, but is located in the south of Jurangmangu village itself.
Gading Serpong is a township, 21 km west of Jakarta at Kelapa Dua and Pagedangan, Tangerang Regency of Banten province in Indonesia. Total land area of this satellite city is about 1500 hectares, which was being first developed by PT Summarecon Agung as Summarecon Serpong. In 1993, Keris Group in-cooperated with the development and the name was changed as Gading Serpong. Later Paramount Land also joined the project. To accelerate development in 2004, partners of the project decided to develop the Gading Serpong region individually, with a share of approximately equal shares. Now the township is mainly divided into two parts as Summarecon Serpong and Paramount Serpong. The township already has schools, universities and colleges, modern markets, sports and recreation clubs, golf courses and clubs, hotels, convention centres, and hospitals.
TransJakarta Corridor 8 is the TransJakarta bus rapid transit corridor that serves from the Lebak Bulus bus terminal to the Pasar Baru BRT station. Corridor 8 traverses along Pasar Jumat, Ciputat Raya, TB Simatupang, Metro Pondok Indah, Arterial Pondok Indah, Teuku Nyak Arif, Letjen Supeno, Panjang, Daan Mogot, Letjen S. Parman, Tomang Raya, Balikpapan, Suryopranoto, Ir. Hj. Djuanda, and Pos streets, and terminates at Pasar Baru. Then continues via Gedung Kesenian, Lapangan Banteng Utama, and Katedral streets towards Lebak Bulus. This corridor is integrated with KRL Commuterline at Kebayoran railway station which serves the Rangkasbitung Line via the Pasar Kebayoran Lama BRT station, Tangerang Line at Pesing railway station via Indosiar BRT station, and Bogor Line at Juanda railway station via Juanda BRT station. This corridor is also integrated with the Jakarta MRT at Lebak Bulus Grab station via Lebak Bulus BRT station.
Sudimara Station (SDM) is a class II railway station located in Jombang, Ciputat, South Tangerang. The station, which is located at an altitude of +26 m, is included in the Operation Area I Jakarta, and is located between Jurangmangu Station and Rawa Buntu Station.
Kebayoran Station (KBY) or commonly known as Kebayoran Lama Station is a class II railway station located near the area of the Kebayoran Lama market, South Jakarta, Jakarta, Indonesia. The station, which is located 4.2 m (14 ft), is the westernmost railway station in Jakarta and only serves KRL Commuterline.
