Bishop Bohdan Dzyurakh, C.Ss.R. (b. 1967, Hirske, Lviv Oblast, Ukrainian SSR) is a curial bishop of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church [1] and titular bishop of Vagada. [2] He is also head of the Supervisory Council of the Construction of the Patriarchal Center of the UGCC. [3] He was ordained priest on 17 March 1991 and was consecrated bishop on 15 February 2006. On 18 February 2021 Dzyurakh was appointed as head of the Ukrainian Catholic Apostolic Exarchate of Germany and Scandinavia, succeeding the retiring Petro Kryk. [4]
The Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC) is a major archiepiscopal sui iuris ("autonomous") Eastern Catholic church that is based in Ukraine. As a particular church of the Catholic Church, it is in full communion with the Holy See. It is the second-largest particular church in the Catholic Church after the Latin Church. The major archbishop presides over the entire Church but is not distinguished with the patriarchal title. The incumbent Major Archbishop is Sviatoslav Shevchuk.

In February 2011 he became Major Archeparch Emeritus after he resigned due to ill health.

The Eparchy of Stryi is an eparchy of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. It is a suffragan see of the Archeparchy of Lviv. The first Eparch was Bishop Julian Gbur, who was appointed to this position by Pope John Paul II on 21 July 2000. He died on 24 March 2011. The incumbent eparch is Taras Senkiv. The Cathedral church of the diocese is the "Cathedral of Dormition of the Mother of God" in the city of Stryi.
Borys Gudziak is the current Metropolitan-Archbishop of the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia. He founded the Institute of Church History and served as the rector and president of the Ukrainian Catholic University. He was previously ordained as a priest, and later a bishop. Gudziak has authored and edited several books on church history, theology, modern church life, and higher education reforms.
Platon Volodyslav Kornyljak or Kornylyak was a Ukrainian Greek Catholic hierarch in Germany. He was the first Apostolic Exarch of the new created Apostolic Exarchate in Germany and Scandinavia for the Ukrainians as titular bishop of Castra Martis from 1959 to 1996.
