Boheyr-e Olya (Persian : بحيرعليا‎, also Romanized as Boḩeyr-e ‘Olyā)^[1] is a village in Mollasani Rural District, in the Central District of Bavi County, Khuzestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 141, in 28 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Mollasani Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Bavi County, Khuzestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 7,129, in 1,403 families. The rural district has 33 villages.
