Borg El Arab Technological University is a national, non-profit Egyptian university, one of the technological universities that are established in accordance with Law No. 72 of 2019 which organize the establishment of technological universities in Egypt, [2] which are educational institutions that follow the method of education and training for students in various specialties needed by the labor market while developing and building the skills necessary to enroll graduates in the labor market directly. The university is located in the universities district in New Borg El Arab city in Alexandria Governorate, [3] [4] on an area of 42 thousand square meters.

Contents

The university campus includes the educational building and has classrooms of different sizes, a cafeteria, workshops and laboratories building, an administrative building, a library, playgrounds, and a parking lot. The duration of study at the university is four years, and the university, like other technological universities, [5] grants degrees according to specialization, which are the above-average professional diploma in technology, the professional bachelor's in technology, the professional master's in technology, and the professional doctorate in technology. The study at the university was started in September 2022. [6]

The Borg el-Arab Stadium, sometimes referred to as the Egyptian Army Stadium or El-Geish Stadium - Alexandria, is a stadium commissioned in 2005 in the Mediterranean Sea resort of Amreya; 25 km west of Alexandria, Egypt. It is the largest stadium in Egypt and the second largest in Africa with a capacity of 86,000 and is an all-seater. It is also the 9th largest association football stadium in the world. It is located on the Cairo-Alexandria desert highway 10 km from Borg El Arab Airport and 15 km from Alexandria's city center. A running track runs around the pitch, and the ground has four floodlights. Only one stand is covered by a roof.

New Borg El Arab is a new Egyptian city of the first generation, located in Alexandria Governorate, and administratively affiliated to the New Urban Communities Authority. It was established by decree of the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt No. 506 dated December 5, 1979 under the name" New Amria City", and it remained in that name until the decision of the Chairman of the council was issued. Ministers No. 1532 dated July 31, 1989 amending its name to become the New Borg El Arab city, with a total area of 47,403 acres (191 km2), about 55 km away from Alexandria, about 8 km from the Mediterranean coast and the Alexandria Matrouh coastal road, and about 3 km from Borg El Arab.

It was held at Borg El Arab Stadium in Alexandria, Egypt. It was played on 15 May 2018 between Smouha and Zamalek. It was a repeat of the 2014 final, which Zamalek won 1–0. Zamalek won the rematch 5–4 on penalties following a 1–1 tie after extra time, so qualified for the 2018–19 CAF Confederation Cup. They also earned a shot at 2017–18 Egyptian Premier League champions Al Ahly for the 2018 Egyptian Super Cup.

Tolip Stadium, commonly referred to as Borg El Arab Stadium subfield, is a football stadium in Borg El Arab, Alexandria, Egypt. It is located near Borg El Arab Stadium, and is mostly used as a training ground for teams before matches at the main stadium. The stadium is also used by Pharco to host some of their home matches, and sometimes by the Egyptian national U-23 team to host their friendly matches.
