Menoufia University is one of the regional universities in Egypt, established in 1976.^[1]^[2]^[3] The university started with four colleges (the College of Agriculture, the College of Engineering, the College of Education, and the College of Electronic Engineering), then it expanded and established many of its affiliated colleges until it became comprising about 80000 students, 3000 faculty members and assistant staff. The main headquarters of the university is located in Shebin El Kom. Currently, the university includes 13 colleges and one institute after the separation of the faculties of the university branch in Sadat City, which has become the University of Sadat City.

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is a collegiate, central, and research university located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India, and founded in 1916. Ain Shams University is a public university located in Cairo, Egypt. Founded in 1950, the university provides education at the undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate levels.

The Faculty of Electronic Engineering is a faculty of Menoufia University. It was formally designated and established in the city of Menouf as the Higher Institute of Electronics under supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education, in 1964. Menouf city lies to the south west of delta at about 65 km north of Cairo.

The University of Newcastle upon Tyne Faculty of Science, Agriculture and Engineering (SAgE) is a faculty of Newcastle University. It was established in the city of Newcastle upon Tyne as the College of Physical Science in 1871, for the teaching of physical sciences, and was part of Durham University.
