Adamawa State University is located in Mubi, in the Northern Senatorial District of Adamawa State, Nigeria. It was established in 2002 by the Adamawa State University Law No. 10 of 2001. [1] [2] The title caption of the university is "Towards ensuring rapid development and transformation of the State". [3] The current[ as of? ] vice chancellor is Dr Stephen Lagu. [4]
On 21 March 2019, construction of a new faculty building was approved. [7]
In the early of April 2024 the government of the state inaugurated a new governing council in the school, which includes the pro chancellor and chairman and the members. [8]
Al-Hikmah University is an Islamic university located in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. It was founded in 2005 by AbdulRaheem Oladimeji Islamic Foundation (AROIF) based in Nigeria and World Assembly of Muslim Youths (WAMY) based in Jeddah. Prince Abubakar Audu University, located at Anyigba, is a state-owned university of Kogi, Nigeria. It was established in 1999 by Prince Abubakar Audu, a former governor of the state.
