Yobe State University is located in Damaturu, Yobe State, Nigeria. It was established under the Yobe state law in 2006 by Alh. Bukar Abba Ibrahim, the then Executive Governor of Yobe State(1999-2007). [1] [2] [3] The current Vice Chancellor of the university is Professor Mala Mohammed Daura [4]

Kaduna Polytechnic is one of the earliest polytechnics in Nigeria, located at Tudun Wada area of Kaduna South local government of Kaduna state, North-Western Nigeria. It was established in 1956 as Kaduna Technical Institute after the British Government accepted the upgrading of Yaba Higher College to a technical institute and also proposed the establishment of technical institutes in Kaduna and Enugu through the recommendation of the Higher Education Commission. TheFederal University of Kashere, also known as FUKashere, is a public conventional university situated in the North Eastern part of Nigeria. The recently established university is situated in the small city of Kashere an administrative territory of Pindiga, Akko local government in Gombe State Nigeria. It was established in 2010 by the Goodluck Jonathan administration as one of the nine new federal universities created in the six geo-political zones of Nigeria. The university was established in a bid to increase access to education and also to ensure equity among all the States in Nigeria.

Mala Mohammed Daura is a Nigerian academic and administrator. He has been the Vice Chancellor of Yobe State University, Damaturu since January 1, 2020, following his appointment by the Governor of Yobe State, Alhaji Mai Mala Buni. He is the fourth Vice Chancellor of the university.
