The Suez Canal University is an Egyptian public university serving the Suez Canal region. Its faculties are located in the three governorates of the Suez Canal Region (Port Said, Ismailia & Suez). It was established in 1974. It is well known for its non-traditional research. It has 48 faculties (16 in Ismaïlia, 13 in Port Said, 10 in Suez and 9 in Arish [2] ) with a total number of students reaching 21,325. [3]

Center of Open Education

The Center Of Open Education aims to provide an opportunity of continuing education for anyone who is holding a high school degree or a technical diploma and desires to raise/improve their educational and cultural level and obtain a bachelor's degree granted by the faculties which participate in center's program. The center also aims at granting various specializations to the bachelor's degree holders who want to have specialized degrees in the areas which are taught by the center. [5]

Hospital

An accredited Suez Canal University Hospital provides evidence-based health care services that utilize top-notch technologies to serve the Egyptian community. [6]

Faculty

The faculty aims to provide continuing professional development opportunities for faculty members and leaders at the university. [7]

Technology Center

The Information and Communication Technology Center provides all the information about the university and its educational systems and the various details on programs of study at the various colleges. [8]

Port Said University is a university in Port Said, Egypt. It was established in 2010, after the decision of the Egyptian president to establish this university to transfer Suez Canal branch in Port Said to an independent university. The history of the university extends before the decision of its establishment; as the existence of its first faculties was the faculty of engineering in 1975 under the supervision of Helwan University, then under the supervision of Suez Canal University when it was established in 1976. After that, more faculties were established in Port Said Governorate increasing to four faculties prompting the decision of establishing Port Said University as a branch of the Suez Canal University in 1998. The decision of the Republic President, for establishing Port Said University in 2010, was the result of the continuous increase of the faculties outreaching nine Educational institutions. Now, Port Said University consists of thirteen faculties including: faculty of Engineering; faculty of Medicine; faculty of Pharmacy; faculty of Science; faculty of Commerce; faculty of Education; faculty of Physical Education; faculty of Specific Education; faculty of nursing; Faculty of education for early childhood; faculty of Arts; faculty of Law and faculty of Management Technology And Information Systems.

The Suez Canal Corridor Area Project is a megaproject in Egypt that was launched on 5 August 2014 by President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and was completed in 2015. The project aimed to increase the role of the Suez Canal region in international trade and to develop the canal cities of Suez, Ismailia, and Port Said.

Marwadi University (MU) is a private university located in Rajkot, Gujarat, India. It was established on 9 May 2016 by the Marwadi Education Foundation through The Gujarat Private Universities (Amendment) Act, 2016. As of 2017, it offers 54 different courses. It is graded A+ by NAAC.
