Boyan Jovanovic is a professor of economics at New York University and a long-term consultant at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond.

Jovanovic, of Serbian descent, received his Bachelor's and master's degrees from the London School of Economics and his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago.

Boyan Jovanovic is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the Econometric Society. He has won the 2019 Global Award for Entrepreneurship Research. [1]

David Bruce Audretsch is an American economist. He is a distinguished professor at the School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) at Indiana University and also serves as director of the SPEA International Office, Ameritech Chair of Economic Development, and director of SPEA's Institute for Development Strategies (IDS). He is co-founder and co-editor of Small Business Economics: An Entrepreneurship Journal, and also works as a consultant to the United Nations, the World Bank, the OECD, the EU Commission, and the U.S. Department of State. He was the director of the Entrepreneurship, Growth and Public Policy Group at the Max Planck Institute of Economics in Germany from 2003 to 2009. Steven Irwin Klepper was an American economics professor, researcher and author. Klepper was the Arthur Arton Hamerschlag Professor of Economics and Social Science at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was recognized for his teaching and research related to the integration of traditional economic models with evolutionary theory, and finding connections between the study of entrepreneurship and mainstream economics. Mića Jovanović is a Serbian businessman and university professor. He is the founder and long-time head of Belgrade's Megatrend University. He resigned the position in 2014 after allegations that he had falsely claimed to have a doctorate from the London School of Economics and had supervised a plagiarized thesis. In 2019, Jovanović was once again elected as rector of Megatrend.

Scott Andrew Shane is the A. Malachi Mixon III Professor of Entrepreneurial Studies and professor of economics at Case Western Reserve University. He has written over sixty academic papers on entrepreneurship, as well as writing or editing ten books on the subject. His research has focused on many aspects of entrepreneurship, including technology entrepreneurship and venture finance, as well as using twin studies to explore the genetic basis of entrepreneurial behaviors.
