Bredebro is a railway town with a population of 1,408 (1 January 2024) [1] in Region of Southern Denmark in Denmark on the Jutland peninsula. The town was the original home of the ECCO shoe manufacturing company.
Until 1 January 2007 Bredebro was the seat of the former Bredebro Municipality (Danish, kommune ).
The former Bredebro Municipality covered an area of 151 km2, and had a total population of 3,680 (2005). Its last mayor was Vagn Therkel Pedersen, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The municipality was created in 1970 as the result of a kommunalreform ("Municipality Reform") that combined the Ballum, Brede, Randerup, Sønder, and Visby parishes.
Bredebo Municipality ceased to exist due to Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). It was merged with Højer, Løgumkloster, Nørre-Rangstrup, Skærbæk, and Tønder municipalities to form the new Tønder Municipality. This created a municipality with an area of 1,352 square kilometres (522 sq mi) and a total population of 42,645 (2005).
Esbjerg Municipality is a kommune in the Region of Southern Denmark on the west coast of the Jutland peninsula in southwest Denmark. Its mayor is Jesper Frost Rasmussen, from the Venstre political party. By 1 January 2007, the old Esbjerg municipality was, as the result of Kommunalreformen, merged with the former Bramming and Ribe and a small part of Helle municipalities to form the new Esbjerg municipality. This municipality has an area of 741 km2 and a total population of 115,423 (2024).

Gråsten is a town with a population of 4,336 on the east coast of the Jutland peninsula in south Denmark by the Nybøl Nor at an inlet of the Flensburg Fjord. Following the Kommunalreformen, Haderslev municipality was merged on 1 January that year with the former municipalities of Gram and Vojens, as well as Bjerning, Hjerndrup, and Fjelstrup parishes of Christiansfeld Municipality and Bevtoft parish of Nørre Rangstrup Municipality.
Højer, is a town with a population of 1,066, which was the seat of the former Højer municipality in south Denmark, in Region of Southern Denmark on the west coast of the Jutland peninsula.
Nordborg, is a town with a population of 5,729, which was the seat of the former Nordborg municipality in Sønderborg Municipality, Region of Southern Denmark on the northwest half of the island of Als off the east coast of the Jutland peninsula in south Denmark.
Until 1 January 2007 Nørre-Rangstrup, was a municipality in the former South Jutland County on the Jutland peninsula in south Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 302 km2, and had a total population of 9,502 (2005). Its last mayor was Ole Østvig Nissen, a member of the Venstre political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Toftlund.
Rødekro is a railway town, with a population of 6,193, in Aabenraa Municipality in Region of Southern Denmark on the Jutland peninsula in south Denmark. It is located 33 km north of the Denmark-Germany border, 37 km northeast of Tønder, 28 km southwest of Haderslev and 8 km northwest of Aabenraa.

The municipality covers an area of 495.86 km2 (191.45 sq mi), and has a population of 74,233. Its mayor as of 1 January 2014 is Erik Lauritzen, a member of the Social Democratic party.

The municipality covered an area of 148 km2, and had a total population of 9,992 (2005). Its last mayor was Jens Aage Helmig, a member of the Venstre political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Padborg.
