Brian Green is an American baseball coach and former player, who is the current head baseball coach of the Wichita State Shockers. He played college baseball at Riverside City College, Chapman University, and New Mexico State University between 1991 and 1994. He then served as the head coach of the New Mexico State Aggies (2015–2019) and the Washington State Cougars (2020–2023).
Green served as an assistant baseball coach at New Mexico State University, Riverside City College, California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, Chapman University, Oregon State University, the University of San Diego, the University of Hawaii at Manoa, [2] the University of California, Los Angeles, [3] and the University of Kentucky. Green was named head baseball coach at New Mexico State University on July 31, 2014. [7] [8] Green was about to outline a plan for how he recruits hitters, which he applied during his first season a head coach. [9] [10] Green was about to help flip the Aggies culture quickly when the 2015 graduated 16 seniors, [11] but he was about to recruit 35 players in his first class. [12] Despite finishing second in the Western Athletic Conference in 2017, the Aggies were named the number 1 seed in the 2017 Western Athletic Conference baseball tournament because Grand Canyon University was ineligible for postseason play. [13] On April 10, 2018, Green won his 100th game as the head coach of the Aggies. [14] He had the Aggies clicking during the non-conference schedule, winning 11 of 12 at one point. [15] Green was able to keep the Aggies rolling, turning their hot start into a WAC tournament championship.
On June 3, 2019, Green was hired to become the head coach for the Washington State Cougars baseball team. [16]

New Mexico State University is a public land-grant research university in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Founded in 1888, it is the state's oldest public institution of higher education, the state's first land-grant institution in New Mexico. Chase Andrew Cole Holbrook is an American football coach and former starting quarterback for New Mexico State University from 2006 to 2008. He is currently an offensive analyst at Colorado State. He was previously the quarterbacks coach for the New Mexico State University Aggies football team. Holbrook played his freshman collegiate year at Southeastern Louisiana as a backup quarterback in 2004.
The New Mexico State University teams are called the Aggies, a nickname derived from the university's agricultural beginnings. The mascot is known as "Pistol Pete". NMSU's colors are crimson and white. Since 2023 the Aggies have competed in Conference USA in all men's and women's sports. New Mexico State sponsors six men's and ten women's teams in NCAA sanctioned sports. The athletic director is Mario Moccia, who has held the position since January 2015.
The New Mexico State Aggies men's basketball team represents New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Founded in 1904, the Aggies compete in Conference USA after spending 18 seasons in the Western Athletic Conference from 2005 through 2023. The Aggies, who last played in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament in 2022, are one of 34 college basketball teams with multiple NBA retired jerseys from former players and a team that reached the NCAA Final Four. The team plays home games in the Pan American Center.

The 2010 Hawaii Warriors football team represented the University of Hawaii at Manoa in the 2010 college football season. The Warriors, led by third-year head coach Greg McMackin, were members of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) and played their home games at Aloha Stadium in Halawa, Hawaii. They finished the season 10–4, 7–1 in WAC play to claim a share of the WAC championship with Boise State and Nevada. They were invited to the Hawaii Bowl where they were defeated by Tulsa, 62–35.
The New Mexico State Aggies baseball team represents New Mexico State University, which is located in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The Aggies are an NCAA Division I college baseball program that competes in the Conference USA. They began competing in Division I in 1962 and joined C-USA before the 2024 season.
The 2013–14 New Mexico State Aggies men's basketball team represented New Mexico State University during the 2013–14 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Aggies, led by seventh year head coach Marvin Menzies, played their home games at the Pan American Center and were members of the Western Athletic Conference. They finished the season 26–10, 12–4 in WAC play to finish in second place. They were champions of the WAC tournament to earn an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. In their 21st NCAA Tournament appearance, they lost in the second round to San Diego State.
Rocky Ward is an American college baseball coach, most recently the head coach of the New Mexico State Aggies baseball program He was given that position before the 2003 season and left after the 2014 season to join Hittinguru 3D. He had previously had the same position from 1997 through 2000. In the intervening years, his father, Hall-of-Famer Gary Ward, worked as head coach of the Aggies while Rocky assisted.
Anthony Phillip Sanchez is an American college football coach and former wide receiver, who is the current head coach of the New Mexico State Aggies. He was the head coach of the UNLV Rebels from December 8, 2014 until he was fired by UNLV on November 25, 2019. He was previously the head football coach at Bishop Gorman High School.
The 2015–16 New Mexico State Aggies men's basketball team represented New Mexico State University during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Aggies, led by ninth year head coach Marvin Menzies, played their home games at the Pan American Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico and were members of the Western Athletic Conference. They finished the season 23–11, 13–1 in WAC play to win the WAC regular season championship. They defeated UMKC to advance to the championship game of the WAC tournament where they lost to Cal State Bakersfield. As a regular season conference champion who failed to win their conference tournament, they received an automatic bid to the National Invitation Tournament where they lost in the first round to Saint Mary's.

They finished the season 28–6, 11–3 in WAC play to finish in a tie for second place. They defeated Chicago State, UMKC, and Cal State Bakersfield to win the WAC tournament. As a result, they received the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament where they lost in the first round to Baylor.

The Aggies, led by first-year head coach Chris Jans, played their home games at the Pan American Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico as members of the Western Athletic Conference. They finished the season 28–6, 12–2 in WAC play to win the WAC regular season championship. In the WAC tournament, they defeated Chicago State, Seattle, and Grand Canyon to become WAC Tournament champions. They received the WAC's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament where they lost in the first round to Clemson.
Mario Moccia is the current director of athletics for New Mexico State University. He previously served as athletic director for Southern Illinois University Carbondale from 2006 to 2014, as an associate athletic director at the University of Missouri from 1998 to 2006, as an associate athletic director at Southwest Texas State University from 1997 to 1998, and as an assistant athletic director at the University of New Mexico from 1993 to 1997. Moccia attended college at New Mexico State University, where he played on the New Mexico State Aggies baseball team.
Mike Kirby is an American baseball coach who served as the head baseball coach at New Mexico State University. Kirby attended college at Cerritos College and California State University, Long Beach, playing on the school college baseball team at both schools. Kirby served as an assistant baseball coach at California State University, Fullerton, Los Angeles City College, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, the University of Oregon, and the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Kirby was named head baseball coach at New Mexico State University on June 24, 2019.
The 2019–20 New Mexico State Aggies men's basketball team represented New Mexico State University during the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Aggies were led by third-year head Chris Jans, and played their home games at the Pan American Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico as members of the Western Athletic Conference. They finished the season 25–6, 16–0 in WAC play to win the WAC regular season championship. They were set to be the No. 1 seed in the WAC tournament, however, the tournament was cancelled amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the WAC Tournament cancellation, they were awarded the WAC's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. However, the NCAA Tournament was also cancelled due to the same outbreak.
